All the videos of 5th October Star Voice Of India episode have been uploaded. Fantastic performances overall. I think if performances remain at this level, I might not have complaint that going from Top 4 to Top 7 is ridiculous. Yes, as I reported couple of days back, they select 3 contestants for wild card entry. Toshi, Abhaas and Priyani are in. Watch the results section for complete drama.

Man now Toshi and Abhaas is back, I really hope that they can take the competition to the next level.

this is not VOI anyomre…it should called Comedy Show of India. Whats happening with this show..??? They are just violating every rule and dragging the show. I am done with the show for this season…hell with it. In next episode judges should be voted out…!!!
abhilasha must be eleminated, she is not fit to be in VOI. Instead SUMITRA IYER must be brought back. Abhilasha is a waste goose.

Rai, i think you should keep your views to yourself, i am an Ishmeet fan and dont think he is threatened by Abhaas or Toshi who are glorified unnessarily. I dont feel they are so good and i am hoping they will be kicked out again as they deserved to be. I dont think people would like another Mohd Rafi or Mukesh like what Abhaas tries so hard to mimick, we would like to remember the original singers who will remain evergreen.

IRFAN and ABHAS rocked this time.I think this is one of ABHAS’ best performances too.I hope IRFAN will be atleast in the final 2.He deserves it.He doesn’t play tricks like others(Daadi, garibi etc etc)and is an singer… If one has closely followed his songs it can be observed that he did nt mess any of the songs. Infact, his improvisations were even better,as pointed by many guest judges (considering that he is performing on the stage in a single go).I’m an addict to his voice….IRFAN has got all the qualities to go all the way till the end …but i hate the AGNI judges who r SHAMELESS in appreciating one-dimensional singers like HARSHIT and TOSHI and undermining IRFAN’s performances as he doesn’t belong to AGNI. I agree TOSHI is the classical genius but he is nt VERSATILE enough to be the VOI…He can only sing those songs of Kailash Kher or similar songs convincingly……I pose a challenge for the judges to introduce a round in which they test the singers by asking them to change the scale,tune and watever they want then and there, IMPROMPTU ….that will actually expose the weaknesses of all the singers and people will know who is really VERSATILE among them all…Afterall playback singing is all about being able to show the music director different plausible ways of singing a particular song and thereby facilitating him to select the best out of the options… ONE Dimensional singers donot make good play back singers

@hks: are you serious? Coz if its a joke its not even funny. Ishmeet is better than Abhaas and Toshi? Hahahhaa! I wonder why every judge on the show thinks otherwise. Maybe they too know nothing about music eh, or maybe you know a lot more than them. Yeah that sounds right.
I’m sure when Ishmeet gets voted out (if he does after people recognize the purpose of bringing the good singers back) none of the judges or the indian publice will care too much about it. The only person who will make hassle out of it will the other ‘punjab the puttars’ solely because of whom he is still hanging onto the show.
When has Ishmeet ever given a performance which was the best of the day. I think once that too when Toshi and Abhaas were already eliminated. Actually look at the amount of below par performances he has given where couldnt get the energy level of the song or that he just sucks. If it was upto the judges Ishmeet would have been out in the first 3 eliminations. But yeah you definitely know more than the judges so your opinion matters more, hahaha.
So just accept the fact that Ishmeet cannot be the voice of india. Coz if he does, people WILL boycott the show. Hell I’m sure even the judges will kick Gajji’s ass for using this stupid voting system.

You don’t need to be an expert to tell who’s HOT and who’s NOT …. and Ishmeet is defintly not HOT.
But you certainly have to be DUMB to believe that ishmeet is going to be VOI …

i would like to say dat the Abhijeet is the stupid judge in the world and he needs to go and get a lesson from the sa re ga ma pa’s judges such as Himesh Reshmaiaya and ishmail darbar and etc.

Here’s why I feel compelled to write. I feel that the show is fixed - in favor of Toshi. After this particular show, after Toshi sang, some footage was shown of him in street ceremonies. The same was not done for the other contestants. The show organizers had to have obtained this footage in advance, and planned it this way. The judges prompted audience reaction for Toshi, and not for the other candidates.
This show sucks, and I consider it to be a fraud. What is happening is heartless towards the other better contestants. Shame on the show organizers. More and more people are becoming aware of what is happening on VOI. Every one of those judges also lack integrity - this show will destroy their image even further.
In this episode I loved the performance of Irfan/Abhas (I liked Irfan better) and Sumitra/Abhilasha……..the song was very upbeat and different ……lets see who wins….my all time favorites are Irfan, Toshi and Sumitra
In response to 6th October episode:
I had a great respect to neutral judge Mr. Jatin Pandit, but the comment he made on Toshi’s performance today is very diappionting & disgraceful. I think Jatin is biast to sombody else’s. The outsid judge Mr. Daler Mehendi made such a good comment on Toshi’s perfomance that what he deserves. From my point of view Jatin should no more be a neutral judge!
if the decision has to be made by judges why waste publics and prataicipants time by vote appeals
I am surprised no one has mentioned it but the performance by Sumitra and Abhilasha was OUTSTANDING. The level of energy and their chemistry on stage was excellent. In contrast when Harshit and Toshi performed, it seemed like each was too busy giving their own individual performance rather than perform together.
I feel everyone in Bemisaal Bara where ultimate singers and its not easy being there and giving live performance. it’s difficult to judge and it’s public voting.
I guess every whose commenting here are wrong as they want their favorites to be VOI or they are from their state,caste etc.
As Vijay stated taking sympathy of dadi stuff by Harshit…I agree with him.
One thing I can say judges are favoring HARSHIT (whose is surely NOT better than SUMITRA…and good singers like Mirande and Pranthika are out. The clipping shows gals crazy for Harishit for his looks..I guess gals need some common sense differentiating between a singing competition and manhunt show.
Priyani is IN ‘cos of favoritism who does not deserve it. I guess Sumitra should be taken back if Priyani is In.
I guess Toshi,Irfan,Sumitra,Ishmeet and Abhas should have be the final four contenders as they are versatile and have variations in their voice and either of them are worth becoming VOI
I see many people disagreeing on Toshi not being a versatile singer so is nobody but everyone knows he has the best voice and I don’t claim him to be the VOI but the public likes his voice for sure…..

I agree with you Juhi…its very surprising nobody has commented about the performance about Sumitra & Abhilasha…They were really fantastic together.. It was one of the best performances of the night…Sumitra & Abhilasha absolutely rocked the stage. The timing & coordination was excellent which is important in a duet. abhilasha has natural talent and should just continue singing confidently instead of worrying who is in or out. I hope she doesnt fall into the chakravat again cos she’s too good a singer to get eliminated. Abhilasha u r the best and we all love you very much..our prayers are with you..

Don’t you think that VOI has joined Ekta Kapoor’s Club, dragging ……..changing rules as per convenience……… No doubt all the contestants are too good, but rule is a rule. It is purely luck. If you want to retain the best talent singer then why leave it to votes??? Voting policy is only to choose the Best among several Bad Candidates and this policy should be limited only to Politics. But unfortunately the rules of this talent show are like that, so friend’s the winner may not be the best VOI instead the luckiest person. For us all the contestants are best they are VOI we would like to hear them again and again. My question to the Producer of this show and other H’onble Jury (who use more Veto Power than the normal powers) - what will happen if Harshit, Irfan , Abhilasha & Ishmith get eliminated and the other 3 or any one of those 3 gets through???? Will these 4 get another chance……..? Will you again have another wild card entry for these elected 4??? If no then u r biased, the veto powers are misused and this would be a big flop show. Mind you that Harshit, Irfan , Abhilasha & Ishmith, each one of them should get another chance before eliminating them completely…… and the re-nomination should be in the ratio 3:4. One last suggestion, since this contest is based more on voting system, I would suggest that you should have one independent Auditor to certify that the voting procedures were conducted in true and fair manner. Public has been spending money and time on this and they should get a fair result. I along with many others dubt that the Vote difference between Priyani and Abbas was just 16. Also we note that the mentors these days are highly partial and recommend the public to vote their best candidate. They should limit their role in giving marks, Public is aware as when to eliminate the candidates 1st round or in the 12th round. if they cannot restrain themselves from discouraging candidates and encouraging their favorites then change the title of this contest from VOI to Voice of Mentors. Lot can be said about the current developments taking place but in short this show seems to be a sure shot addition to K Serial Club………..
You all people see Irfan’s awesome performance how he was comfortable in classical action the best singer in VOI history truley deserve king of this contest, but sadly i see agni judges thinks that there’s nobody genius like us, VOI fix by agni judges they all shud kick out for the sake of this contest.
sonia u re saying dat he is coming out dis friday. but u never try to understand what i wrote. i am saying about the judges only because i saw abhjeet what he said dat day too ishmeet dat one of dese should not be in top 12 dat’s y i said it. i wrote before dat they u should not also let toshi go out when it was only 25 votes different it was between toshi and abhas.u think dat i am supporting irfan and i didn’t even put ishmeet’s name and from where did u get his name dere…
My favorite participant so far has been Abhaas. But to tell you frankly, he did disappoint me on Friday during the ‘Jugalbandhi’ round as also on Saturday. Irfan outshone him! It could see that his continuous coming in Chakravaat and then then getting eliminated and then again coming back has taken a toll on him. He gave out a strong feeling in his song, that he is uncertain of the future. His face has also lost colour. I sincerely hope the boy bounces back with vigour!
Remember, the elimination of Toshi has sparked off the entire mess, which is getting murkier by the day! Had not Toshi been eliminated, things would have been very smooth!
It would be wrong if Abilasha is eliminated and Priyani is in …………….
