Anyway, as Alisha (of Indian Idol III) would say, today’s episode was ‘Rocking’! I think we had some really memorable performances today.
First we had Irfan, who sang ‘Tadap Tadap’ and set the stage on fire. He brought the pain, emotion, soul in to the song and touched my heart. As my friend Aspi would like to say ‘Ati Uttam’!
Next, Toshi once again shows his excellence in ‘Main Jahan Rahoon’. I am no music expert but I can feel that singing a song like ‘Main Jahan Rahoon’ LIVE, is no easy feat. I really don’t have words about how I feel about this outstanding performance. You shouldn’t miss this one!
And yes, can I know who is the hair dresser for this show? Does he/she hate the contestants and have decided to mess their hair? First, we had a terrible ‘darji’ and how a horrible hair dresser. Gaji, would please hire those folks who work with Indian Idol? They make normal guy/gals look like a model.

HArshit and Abhaas. Kya baat hai yaar. Abhijeet grow up Stop covering for being nasty to Ishmeet some weeks ago at the expense of others. Obviously thats Harshits voice and sounds like Kumar Sanu, Kishore Kumar sometimes. Well if you want original give them new compiled songs like Lataji said to really see their talents, then you can’t compare with anyone. At the moment they are singing others songs and getting compared. Ishmeet last week sang Shaans song and copied him, where was abhijeet then and didn’t say that he sounded like Shaan and not Ishmeet. You want original voice then give them original songs.My votes for Harshit and Toshi. Abhaas is good on as my 3rd.

Guys, just for those who dont already know this. This song has been sung by two individuals. Most of the song by Raahat Fateh Ali Khan and the higher pitched parts by I cant recall rite now.
Makes Toshi’s performance and that too live even more commendable.
Is anyone seriously capable of such a performance?

A heart-breaking episode…that was Oct 26th episode for me.. My journey of SVOI stops right here with Irfan’s elimination. I wish him the best always and I would be the first row seater in case he comes for a concert here in Canada ~ Sometimes I feel as if the indian residents have it the best with all this talent right close to them. But for Irfan, I would even travel to India to see him perform, if need be

You are right Anu. obviously all these singers are singing other’s songs. Please every one do not take me wrong, I realy do like the way Toshi, Abhas and Ishmeet is singing, however lets be realistic, what is wrong with Harshit’s voice, if he has a voice that sounds like kumar Sanu , then what is wrong with , rather is a best thing for him , I mean isn’t kumar sanu a great singer?. You know for me

2 Ishmeet ( despite every body says, oh he is just singing one type of songs, well it is better to sing one type of song excellent than sing many type and sing it not as good)

J ,I wanna thank you for your hard work, uploading episodes, and please all of you , even if your favorite singers has been elimenated, be fair to all of these wonderful contestants, respect each one of them because at this level all of them are VOI and winners.
One last request I have from you J and from every body , Please do not post any spoiler information you have about the elemination before hands, it is way more intresting to watch the show not knowing who is going to leave and who is going to stay in the show. I hope I have not been disrespectful to anybody’s opinions about this show. God bless you all.

Loved your letter to J yesterday. It filled my eyes wih tears as I recollected how Alka smiled with relief when poor Irfan was eliminated. And the other judges went on with commments like this:
“Harshit is my favorite. I want him to stay”
NOT ONE OF THEM SIDED IRFAN.
NOT ONE OF THEM SAID ANYTHING NICE FOR IRFAN.
AND YET, THE GENTLEMAN HE WAS, IRFAN MAINTAINED HS POISE OF DIGNITY.
THAT BROKE MY HEART.
THE JUDGES SHOULD GO THROUGH THIS SORT OF AN EXPERIENCE WHERE THEY ARE SIDELINED. THEY WILL KNOW HOW IT FEELS.
If you notice, they always placed Irfan in the background. Only Abhijeet supported him despite his flawless performances.

My journey of VOI too ends here. I did not watch Saturday episode. Will not watch finals too.

This time i would like to thanks Mr. Abhijeet bhattacharya for such a great judgement for all the contestants. But i personally feel that Harshit has a great capability of singing, enthusiasm and energy. But his rude face is not appropriable at this level/stage, he should always smile, After all he’s Harshit. But anyway I’m really pleased by ishmeet’s performance on saturday. Well done Abhijeet n Ishmeet.

Judges are sick in their mind to pass comments about region favouritism.Even Shaan tried to play the same theme.On one hand Alka asked Andhra people to vote for the boy from their Pardesh and on the other they are asking Punjab not to vote for their boy.
If Rajasthan votes for Toshi it is good deed but if Punjab votes for Ishmeet it is regionalism.What logic!!
Ishmeet buck up and give these sick people a befitting reply through your performance and make them eat their words
It’s too late Abhijeet. Irfan has been eliminated and Harshit stays, whether you get angry or not.
But he was right, we don’t need another Kumar Sanu. We need original and fresh voices.
Personally, I now want Toshi or Abhaas to be the VOI. Both of them are matured singers and ready to sing at a moment’s notice. But I suspect that will happen as we all know Ishmeet will make it to the end because of his Sikh Biradari.

Well now it turned out to be Comedy of Errors…first it was Fabulous Four turning in to Sargam Seven.. and surprisingly Irfan gets eliminated as 5th though he qualified to Top 4. Sounds like a puzzle which Gajji can only solve. I personally feel if there is a set format decided before the competition you have to stick with it..thats what makes an Indian Idol or Saregama far better compared to VOI. There were instances of good singers eliminaed because of poor voting in II and Saregama but they accepted it..not like these Joker judges.. I feel Irfan is atleast worth being in Top 3
It was all the judjes who made irfan out…..and last sunday almost most of the time the server was down in andhra prades and we could not vote for him……..and it was clearly shown on tha faces of jatin pandit and adeesh that they dont like irfan and the eliminated him…..this is second time that south indian good singers have eliminated this is shame on their part…….

Abhijit should have been in the episode to support IRFAN. All the other judges are so sick in their mind and always play politics.
And Alka is so sick that she is laughing and her face is enlighted when Harshit is safe and IRFAN eliminated. How sad, she is the coach for IRFAN and happy when he is eliminated. SAB FIXING hai bhai….Mujhe to lagta hai ye GAJI aur sab judges ne milkar Harshit ko bacha liya. Poor JANATA, unko kya maloom ki unke votes kya count bhee hote hain ya nahin. Sab politics hai bhai.
Aadesh and Lalit Pandit should be politicians and not Music directors. Since beginnning when Prithvi and Agni were formed, they tried their level best to eliminate IRFAN as they knew that IRFAN was the best competitor for their Agni contestants, especially for their favourite Harshit who always tries to copy the original singer whichever song he renders.
IRFAN never copied any singer. He always sang in his own voice and style.
Mr Jatin Pandit alwasy backs up Harshit saying that agar Harshit SVOI se chala jaayega to ye SVOI ke liye sahi nahi hai. Main poochna chaahta hoon, kya Harshit ne aaj tak IRFAN ke jaise performances diye hain…IRFAN is the only singer in SVOI who has chosen most difficult and different types of songs and his performance was flawless.
IRFAN = Star voice of India.
SVOI = Star voice of IRFAN.
Irfan, do not worry. Though these judges are sick, we all know that you are the most deserving Voice of India compared to all other contestants.
Hats of to your dignity, simplicity and professional behaviour you showed when these judges were happy for Harshit when he was safe when you eliminated. I pray to Allah for your success and wish you become a legend like Mohammad Rafi saab. Ameen.

it was very sad teh irfan was eliminated , i wish harshit was eliminated instead!!!he always gets symapthy votes by mentioning his ‘dadi’.. and teh judges r completely biased towards him. i wish he gets out next week.
i really think toshi is the best!!!! he doesnt copy anyone , original voice, no unwanted support from the mentors and very good performances. he deserves to b voi.. no doubt!!!

Elamination of IRFAN is preplanned by Gudges and presenter, peoples have seen all drama by Jatin, lalit Adesh & Alka’smile.
Jatin & Latit are the BIG Assholes of this show they do’nt damn care of talent,do’nt know how much they make money from that,there’s no reason or ligic about votes from state only not all areas, only make a reason for elimination, Shan also said Irfan take more votes than Ishmeet but i cannot understand this show of stupids.
Without IRFAN this show is no longer “The show’s of stupids” Gudges, fan’s of Irfan should not vote to others cause the vote of us are only for him,no body can take its place, only Toshi can compete him and they both deserve for final.
Gudges have asspain when IRFAN was singing, now they laugh F**** on “munchahay” Aaabas & Harshiit.
Irfan ur always great & you make homes in our hearts, please come again for us we are waiting for you, please if you see this meesage, please also give us your opinion.

Jatin, Lalit be prepare for first aid we will come for your marrammat .
Finally GS has started following up SRGPM pattern by dividing votes into different categories but I’ll be more than happy if they announce total number of votes as well. Instead of spreading regional row, it would be great if they agree on some more positive mode to attract public. In my personal opinion, if they keep the same pattern in coming episode, then they should rename the show to STAR VOICE OF (Winner’s state name) like Punjab or Rajasthan etc.
Alka and Abhijeet expressions in the recent episodes clearly show that something went wrong seriously; else they would have never been so serious. I think Abhijeet’s criticism to Harshit was in retaliation to Irfan’s forced elimination and will keep on doing so for another episode at least. I’ve seen tug of war between Agni & Prithvi after long time, and I’m sure Irfan’s forced elimination is the reason behind this.
I used to hate Lalit for begging sympathy votes for Harshit by using his BLIND DADI, but his brother Jatin has joined him as well. This is a patent indication that Harshit is losing votes because of more talent available in VOI. Funny stuff is that now Toshi has joined sympathy pleading club as well by bringing his aunt’s medical issues!!! He has realizsed by now that only talent will not win him the crown but he has to participate in dramas as well!! But seriously, Toshi is the only participant in VOI so far, for whom none of the judges has begged for votes. That clearly shows level of his talent.
Irfan’s performance was one of the best so far on Friday. The way he sang Tadap Tadap clearly show that he is a true versatile singer and possesses superior qualities then few other participants of VOI who are still there undeservingly. I did mention in the past that Irfan might not make to the grand finale because of lack of support from judges and their cruel behavior towards his eliminations has proven my point. This man showed complete bravery on his elimination. GOD blesses him.
Now VOI is reaching its climax and as mentioned in the past, Toshi’s presence in grand finale is definite due to commercial issues. He will earn hell of money for GS, regardless of who is the winner. Ishmeet is for sure in Grand finale because he is the only one representing Prithvi. That makes Harshit or Abhas as nominees for next elimination. Both of them have support from Judges. Hrshit is supported by Lalit & Adesh. Abhas is being supported by Jatin and Alka. Basically next elimination would show who more powerful judge is there in VOI. Abhijeet is out of powerful race of judges due to his unwanted comments in every episode and Alka was very clever to choose Abhas after Abhilasha’s elimination.

nice episode, i think ishmeet did the best. i think ishmit and irfan were the best contestants. but i have a question for all the muslim participants here, they always take toshi,irfan,or abbas’ side. why don’t they ever say anything good about harshit and ishmit.
and everyone says that punjab is voting for ishmet, but punjab is so small, sikhs are only 1.2% of india muslims are 17 % and hindus are 80%. so i dont’ think ppl are actually voting for just for their candidates. if that was the case harshit and ishmit would have been out long time ago. vote for the right candidate.
toshi is good but i dont’ like the fact that he was out and they brought him back. i wish sumitra was still there.

It was sad to see Irfan go when more deserving candidates are still there.
But it would not have been a shocker, had you considered the following:
1. Darwin’s principle of “Survival of the fittest” is applicable in almost every walk of life.
2. Irfan, though a versatile singer was by no means the fittest of them all for the reasons:
A. He failed to impress any of the judges to the core.
B. He did not have a solid public support either.
Now, its obvious, if you score mediocre on both these accounts, unfortunately you have little chance of survival in this show for long, purely on the basis of your effort/talent etc!
The unpredictable part(not really, I think Harshit stands good chances of getting eliminated this week, if there is no votes tempering…Otherwise, Abhas should be the one to get out) of the game will start now where you have a contest between judges’ favorite vs people’s favorite…If you add the element of vote tempering to it, it becomes an interesting equation of mathematical modeling!
Will it not be interesting and honest too, to divide the contestant in two different groups, namely ‘Judges’ favorite’ vs “Public favorite”?

On a number of counts Harshit should be out this week….
1: Copycat singer
2: His performances on the 26th & 27th were the least impressive
3: I actually think that the Pandit Bros, Adesh and Alka want him to lose that is why they keep praising him so much and keep dragging his Dadi in.
4: Ishmeet should stay in on his performance last week, if not, the Punjab factor will still keep him in…
5: Toshi should get max votes again.
6: Abhas has not done any harm to himself by playing his “I am sweet and mischevious 17″ card.. shud go down well with the audiences.
All of the above points to Harshit being eliminated……
UNLESS….. the X FACTO vote tampering rears up its ugly head!

rajesh, u r right. all is pre planned. i m also not interested in starvoice of india now after IRFAAN’s elimination. he is the best aming all of them. not even a single judge was nice to him on 26 oct episode.but still he was saying good words for the judges. the way all the judges smiled on his elimination was reaaly very heart broking.

SVOI IS NONE OTHER THAN IRFAN,Harshit is a waste card he is full of ego. he always used to cry when ever he was in chakravaat. But once he got eliminated in grand finale he said he didnt care much abot it and he said he had many offers in hand which made me hate harshit even more.
