Toshi sings Teri Deewani, the performance which made me launch the site.
I am a lazy guy. I have ten thousand ideas floating in my head at any given time. The problem is, I don’t get my butt off the chair and work on them.
One of my idea was to launch a better fan site for Star Voice Of India. Since last 3 weeks I was playing with the idea but when I saw the ‘Teri Deewani’ performance by Toshi, I was soooooo moved that I decided that I will launch the site. And here it is. 
I think Toshi was absolutely outstanding in his rendition of ‘Teri Deewani’. I would kind of agree with Jagjit Singh that he sang it better than the original. Actually, it will be unfair to say that he sang it better than original. The original song by Kailash Kher has something which Toshi can never copy i.e. Kailash Kher’s soulful voice. Though I can say for sure that I like both versions of the song; one sung by Kailash and the one sung by Toshi. So without much ado, here comes Toshi with the song ‘Teri Deewani’.

What can i say .. Today as soon as I came back from the office i got to know that Toshi is out of the contest.. I m SHOCKED.. He i such a brilliant singer… God knows what Indian viewers are upto..
I m so cheesed off with the entire episode that i have dicided not to watch VOI anymore.. If singers like Toshi are not given the due respect and credit for the talent they carry , then i don’t think that such shows should be aired in the first place..
The Producer of the show should not just be bothered about hos pocket which is being filled by the SMS bucks but should also consider that the people who are actually contributing to the TRP of the show are being benefited in rela sense..and not just on sympathised with..
I really hope someone who can actually make a difference in Toshi’s life reads this and do something because this guy really deserves better than what he is getting in Life…
I was SHOCKED, to say the least, when I saw the results today. It was heartbreaking. It always has been, but before I used to say, in all fairness, that this is the way the show is supposed to be. The lesser talented, or lets put it more fair, the weaker talented stars make way for the more talented ones. That was not the case today. Toshi has always had a brilliant performance since his audition; he sings from his heart and soul, and his singing is fused with earth and the elements of nature; it is that natural. I was totally shocked and aghast; never have I seen before a more wrongful case of judgement. It is totally not fair. Even the audience displayed their shock through tears and stupified expresions.
I was pleased with all of the judges, gajji ji, and everyone there supporting him, including his brother.
One more thing… I truly hope Toshi gets what he deserves in real. It really was heartbreaking to see him go, partly because we saw his reaction, and partly because our hearts were set on his soulful true hearted singing. Its just not done. I hope Abhijeet da and everyone realise his true potential and keep the promises they made to him.
All the best for your future Toshi, your fans will support you whatever happens.

I loved how he sang it in higher notes, rather than lower ones in the original. Its this small bit of originality, coupled with his voice and a different pace that makes the song sound original ratehr than the exact same thing. Brilliantly done by Toshi.
I m also a very big fan of Voice of India, I liked Toshi very much among all the contestents. I also read in blog a guy or gal, don’t exactly know, but his comments was that

I don’t liked this comment at all coz just tell me one thing when we watch VOI enjoy it, emotionally attach with it, can’t we guess or judge who is right one among all. Do we really need others comments to judge some one, can’t we find out ourselves. As last week all knows about Toshi. Out of 10/9 people agree with me he was best. So plz while voting don’t think contestents are from where, c only wat they sing`
What Has been done to bring Toshi BacK?… NOTHING!!! People took time out to protest against the elimination in form of demonstrations nd sending emails. What did it materialise in???
NOTHING! seems to have fallen in deaf ears. How about the judges they said that they were gonna try their best to bring Toshi back so WHAT HAVE THEY DONE???? Seems its a whole lot f BULL CRAP!! There was a certain degree of assurance amongst peoples minds that the outcome of all protests would be very positive! What a DISGRACE to VOI’s team as they can’t keep their words. Utterly dissapointing but No comparison to the commedable efforts put in by INDIAN IDOLS TEAM TO GET THEIR STAR BACK THROUGH THE WILD CARD CATEGEORY

How shocking—Not again!!!. It seems that there had been some interference and manipulation with the voting system.
We were trying to send votes for Toshi while the lines were still open and we just couldn’t succeed.It’s a shame that he has to leave BUT the others in the show are NO way near him.As many had said and also Abhijeet , the SVOI is not the right platform for him, however God is great that he has had so much exposure to the world and his talents that it won’t go in vain.People will always appreciate his talents and will support him .I was reading that he would be releasing his new album soon.So good luck and best wishes to him .It will sell like wild fire.

It was very shocking that Indian people had votted out Toshi the same people who had given him the highest votes for last two weeks. He got highest vote last time and he got the least highest this time. I think there is something going wrong. Why people are saving ishmeet so much eventhough he sings only romantic songs all the time while Toshi was choosing the different kinds of songs which are very diifcult to sing. I bet Ishmeet can not sing those kind of songs.

Again the same story. This time it is toshi what the heck is happening. I am sure they are playing with the votes, and i am very sure that it is not the people’s fault, it is the organizers, this is just a game they play for TRP and of course money, so cheap and lowly to play with talent. I read the comments that explained the difference in the original and toshi’s song it wsa simply great. Wonder what is happenign to VOI, cut the crap guys (organiser & Judges) I’m sure if it was A.R. Rahman in the show, he would just taken Toshi like a priced possesion. What a song and what a way to sing. Looks like India needs no good singers or are the singers themselves worried about their run in the younger generation race. Please whatever is the organizers idea, stop playing with people that too youngsters.
Toshi, you still have a bright future, true and hard work will definitely pay off. If a person like the guest can say “you sang better than the original” those were golden words, keep them as your trophy. God bless U.

Well well! Toshi was a VOI winner for me the moment he sang “Teri deewani”. He brought tears into my eyes when he rendered this song. Sorry to say mere bharat ki janta andhi aur behari hai jo na sun sakti hai na dekh sakti hai. Kicked out such a talented singer. God bless him and wish him good luck.
