I think by Toshi’s very high standards “Saiyan” was only good, not mind-blowing. His lack of preparation (being away on family duty) showed as he goofed up the words big time!
Saiyan has a very real SUFIYANA touch to it.. can be sung in praise of the Lord and the lover. I would have loved to have seen Toshi take the earlier interpretation.. it would have taken the song to the TOSHI level!
He had dedicated the first song to Diya anyway, so Saiyan could have been dedicated (without explicitly saying it!) to the Lord and lovers of music!
I have been waiting for this performance since Toshi’s debut on SVOI! It has been a long wait…
I have also been waiting for Allah Ke Bande and I think Toshi has saved it for the Grand Finale!

Ameera you are wrong… Saiyaan is not from any movie, it is from Kailash Kher’s album, Kailasa.
I had been waiting to hear Toshi sing this song for a long time too cos I know that no one could have sung it better. I had heard another contestant in some other reality show like this, sing this song and i didn’t like it cos I am completely in love with this song from the day I first heard it. And i must say that Toshi completely lived upto my expectations. He was absolutely brilliant in all his performances with Main Jahan Rahoon and Saiyan outshining the rest.
I don’t think he seemed to be out of tune or practice at all. Rather he brought in his own variations too. Espeiclally when he sang the higher scales and the ending part. Simply Loved it.
The newspaper excerpt really makes me sad as no one has the rights to degrade a talented person’s image. I think this has been done by people who are somply jealous of his success and the popularity he has amongst the people of India. But I guess everyone has certain sense of music and knows very well that Toshi’s capacity is more than anyone elses amongst the contestants. So his true fans will continue to be with him no matter what.

hey … i m from pakistan and i think every single paki who watch the show luv toshi. he is the one who sang Nusrat song so clearly that ur judges said he is the best … i think in india ppl just look the faces and the personality of the ppl not their talent like hurshat… is it nothing but the copy of kumar sanu … i think the most deserving man is toshi he got the voice he got the style and also the neat n clean heart … BEST of luck dear bro (TOSHI)

I am already impressed of TOSHI’s all performances so far but the most impressive part was of his vote appeal asking us to vote him only if we feel that he can sing in next episodes and should move forward to the finals.
It did not ends here, his mom too requeted us that vote for TOSHI’s performance ONLY.
Folks!! it takes real guts and genuine heart to express true feelings which both TOSHI and his
MOM did..
I simply loved TOSHI and his MOM for demonstrating such a sportsman spirit and pray from the bottom of my heart for him to become VOI.

Its sad hwo the judges favor Harshit and Abhaas in front of the show. Their reaction was abhorring and you could see how relieved they felt when it was ultimately Irfan who was out.
Abhijieet is the only neutral judge who is FAIR and NEUTRAL among all the judges….
It’s sad that these things still exist in our country today…
In my humble opinion, not disrespecting anybody’s opinion, I believe Toshi sings really deep down from his heart (that you can feel sometimes Abhaas singing too and once Ishmit did keeping in mind Amanat) that touches your heart and provides a divine pleasure. Not everyone has a similar taste, hence people will be touched in different ways so it sounds pretty improper to consider other’s taste less decent compared to his/hers. So, let’s simply enjoy their performances and appreciate them. They say if you don’t have a good remark to make, it’s better not to make any.Again I do respect everyone’s opinion but let us learn to simply enjoy the show. (Not trying to sound extraordinarily wise), but truly I respect all these great talents so please let us not make them our material subject of personal hypocrissy.

Pitchle kayi dinon se bade saare sixer maar rahe ho… Sun kar dukh hota hein. You have to outperform urself. Other contestents are not ur level. But Abhas has worked well on his voice. But nothing beats ur practice, talant …blessing.

No doubt the performance was AWESOME. And yes he did screw up the lyrics, which was small but that doesnt matter, voice quality matters. And overall ABHAAS has a much voice and he is versatile in different genres. Toshi on the other hand sings a similar genre of songs and he is no DOUBT AMAZING but lacks variety.
no matter what he is the best!!!! gave such a great performance and clearly outnumbered the others. he has immense talents nd did so well without preparation. he is blessed with the duas from his well wishers.

Toshi’s singing is macthless bcoz he always sang these songs which r difficult to sing & any participant can’t sing these type of songs.he always sings classical based songs,even some times we saw that he sings very easy songs but he made songs extra ordinary bcoz of his singing qualities.nobody get that position which toshi already have,all participants sings with music but toshi play with music so v 100% sure that he is the master of singing.
I can’t believe this 2 good voices are out Irfan and Toshi .

Sidhu, Daljit and the likes are obviously from Punjab. They will never be able to rise above provincialism and communalism. They will only vote for Ishmeet.
Same is the case with Naidu, Jimmy and the likes. They will only be able to see merit in Harshit or Abhaas.

Anyone with a little brain and even less music sense can know that you are the best there is, was and will be and I request all those idiots who have no idea about what they are talking about to keep their traps shut. as far as i think toshi is one of greatest artist in the present time & muzik world.. he is such a gr8 singer his voice is superb mind blowing arey yar jithna kahay kam hai toshi ke baare mai bas he is the best he deserve a good company to lounge his muziks play back songs and many more relateed to the muzik world..
