Insider tells us that Abhaas has been voted out this week.
Even though I like Ishmit, I don’t think he deserves to be in final two. For the first time, I feel like everything has been set up to make Harshit win the contest. Actually, I don’t have any interest left in this show if the finale is between Harshit and Ishmit.
Actually, I am wondering how judges are going to react, especially Mr. Jatin, when Abhaas will be eliminated. Let me rephrase, I am wondering how low judges will go when they find that Abhaas has been eliminated.

what is The Final — Star voice of India has became bogus shit.
It was unecessary to bring back guys with wildcards and vetos.
Simply it has lost craze in public. What a type of fools are the management.
If everything was going smooth as it is with Harshit , Irfan, Abhilasha and Ishmeet it would have been best show in India. Now it is like a pain in ” A” to watch this show.
The major guys to blame is The Judges !
My friends Bollywood is looking for a different voice for their own business which they found in Hershit or Ishmit. Ifran and Toshi are great and You will see these guys flying as well. So please don’t get upset. All of you have the right to make your choice. Love all of you fan
Toshi might be good singer but he is the root cause for spoiling the show. Ofcouse judges r dump too.Toshi tried to get votes by his sympathy….but it back fired..!!!!! Toshi..achive success so that when u look back you can be proud of your self. The method you adopted is a shamfull choice. I guess u must be sining in some bar or using Abjeet’s car, house, money blah blah..!!!!
I stopped watching this show(i check only to know eliminated singer) after sumitra got eliminated.
But now i am happy that all wild card entry people r out….!!!!

I feel sad for Abhaas , but now clearly out of the two , Harshit is better. Seems like he is going to be our Amul SVOI. Hope he wins. I have always liked him. LIked Toshi and Irfan also. But have voted for Harshit only.

Abhijeet was right , there is no competition when Harshit , Aabhaas and Ishmeet are competing, as then Harshit is the best out of those three without a doubt. Harshit is also from a middle class family just like Toshi. Both sing real well, but Harshit’s voice is far better …Thanks Rovino for the good news, made my day. Little kid Aabhaas has a bright future, he will do well , needs to grow up more..
Believe me, Abhijeet the worst judge. One day he is calling Give all the votes to Ishmit and the other day his wording is out of this world. These Judges are tranning these guys.Please give me a Break. Its all Bullshit from them and they are creating their own images, which I don’t know, knowingly, purposally or to get fame. I am sure Its a big show. and we are the fool, RIGHT. Keep watching my friends. I think I will do the same.

Can some one please tell me ,if this is just a rumor based on our previous prediction, or actualy , in fact, Abhaas has ben eliminated?
I wish he was in the final,as far as the question who is going to be the SVOI, I am very preplexed to even predict because , if it is based on voice and other singing abilities, then it shoudl be Harshit. However we have to keep in mind that if it is based on votes, then there is good chance for Ishmeet to win , because we have witnesseed the kind of support he has from his loyal fans in the past .( not that I think Ishmeet is not a good singer,but diffinitly comparing him with Harshit, Harshit deserves to be VOI)

In my opinion, some of the commentators on this site would have made much better judges than the so-called JUDGES we currently have on SVOI.
The principle criteria for any good judge is OBJECTIVITY, do any of the current lot on SVOI possess this?

It’s just that SVOI has shocked a music lover like me to the core. I am not able to comprehend the depths to which these people plunge to make a buck.
Whilst Toshi has been my personal favourite, I would not have minded either, Irfan, Abhilasha, Arshpreet or even Prantik (let us admit it he did very well in the wild card round in front of the esteemed judges) being in the final three.
Yes, a large part of my disappointment has to do with the elimination of Toshi, but the disillusionment I feel is to do entirely with the way music is being insulted by the so-called experts. This coming from a man who gave us Sa Re Ga Ma?

I think the competetion is over. After Irfan and Toshi no one is good to become Voice of India.
And you guys must remember one thing, No one can compete Toshi, only he will be a only superstar in Next 6 months who will then be Known by Voice of India.

Harshit really deserve to be Voice of India
Abhas’s my last hope for this show..I used to watch SVOI over SRGMP and would catch up SRGMP later..After the ouster of all my favourite participants (and well, my favourites have generally been appreciated throughout), I feel cheated..Even SRGMP was not doing any good with public voting but still the best 3 in the lot made it to the top..
I find it so funny, that the same public who made reasonably “intelligent” decision in one show, failed to do the same in the other…I don’t think that the audience for the two shows was very different..
Which ultimately makes me believe that atleast one of these two shows was fixed…And I wish and pray that it was SRGMP that was fixed because they made sure that the better talent remained in the show..
And Zaki, I am so happy you mentioned Prantik (atleast twice in your various comments)..I liked the way his voice sounded specially in upper notes..I felt uski awaaz taar jaisi khichti thi upar..very umm, untechnical statement..but kya karein..those who are supposed to make technical comments take Ganga maiyya ki qasam and Shiv ji ki Saugandh to make their point..

Completely agree with zaki, alzee, sunny and suresh. VOI was all pre-planned.The director thinks that he could convince the public with all this drama of neutral zone and regional votes and interviewing people etc, etc. As if we don’t know his intentions. I think all of us judged after irfan and toshi’s elimination.All this talk of ’succha sur ki jai,jai…’No honesty left in the programme.

I am analysing that some one internally support the Harshit but according to my point of view Toshi or Abhas was the right person for Star of Voice of India. But Unfortunately Harshit only going due to his Grand Mother and got sympathy of Public. No charm to look VOI.
Latest update: Nobody is out yet bcaz the recording of voice of india was postponed yesterday till d next day which is today :D… so the results will be out hopefully till d evening. i hope i will be the first one to inform u guys. i hope ishmeet and abhaas will be in the final two. it will be fun to see ishmeet choosing hard songs which he has done only on the one occassion and the song was “Masha Allah” and all the judges of agni running after him :D. it will be more fun. anyways now i feel that ishmeet should win since my favourite toshi is out….. so i want something surprising in this show.

I hope Ishmeet wins….the Punjab Da Puttar. Abhas is good too but he tries to act too cute and that backfires on him….he should learn to be humble like Harshit and Ishmeet. Toshi was overconfident but he is a good singer too…but his voice suits that of a pop/rock star…not playback music…Toshi is a performer…he will excel in live shows..but Harshit has a cinematic voice though I think he sounds too much like Kumar Sanu and even the judges said so…but there u go…we have another clone just like we had Emon Chatterjee who was a clone of Sonu Nigam in Indian Idol 3…see how far that got him…in end only an ORIGINAL voice will prevail or that of someone who has the backing of the masses…in this case it is none other than ISHMEET…his only flaw is that he cannot sing fast paced songs…but what he is good at…love ballads and easy-going hum and sing along songs…well he is VERY good at that…MASHA ALLAH was a great example. And his humility and his straight-forwardness will get him far…just u watch…he will be the voice of tomorrow’s Bollywood stars…and he suits the voice of the SNAG (sensitive new age guy) like Saif, Shahid, Abhishek etc etc. VOTE FOR ISHMEET!!!

Gaj gee (motoo) has already fixed the show which is really the source of embarasement for him.
1 more thing to the judges that this show consists on reallity and ane real voice not on that whose DAADI is blind???
So, Harshit and Ishmit are really not good singers as irfan and Toshi are.
There should be compitition between Irfan and Toshi coz they deserve to be VOI
Bring back Irfan And Toshi otherwise the show should be closed.
I watch Sa re ga ma pa lil champs these days. I think both the judges and the contestants of SVOI have a lot to learn from this show. You feel good after watching a classy show like Lil Champs becoz there’s no favoritism,no prejudices ,just simple appreciation of music which is what you would expect from a talent hunt show. The children are very gifted and so talented that they could definitely teach Harshit and Ishmit a thing or two.

For me everything seems to be fixed for Harshit who is the favourite of all the judges and even GAJJI except Abhijit. Harshit is a good singer and has a good strong voice but does not deserve to be Voice of India when compared to Irfan and Toshi who are more versatile than Harshit and can sing different types of songs and were deseving to be in the Final.
As we all know that Major decision for deciding VOI will be with Lataji. And definetely she would choose Harshit between Ishmeet and Harshit as Harshit is better compared to Ishmeet.
It looks like as if platform is made ready for Harshit to become VOI by eliminating Irfan, Toshi and now Abhaas this week. If either of these contestants were there on final then definetely Lataji would choose Irfan or Toshi. But now she does not have any choice left and should choose Harshit over Ismeet.
These judges and GAJJI have fooled all of us. They are fixing from last 3 episodes. I did not watch last episode after Irfan and Toshi got elimiated. There is nothing left in the show now.Everything is Fixed. FEVICOL ka mazboot FIXING hai bhai…TOOTEGA nahin..

Rest all singers are trying to copy of Kishor and Rafi sb.
It is challange to all singers of VOI, can any one else sing a song of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, no body can do??????????/
But TOSHI did well and perform extermly outstanding. I presume his future will be so bright inshallah.
But so sad if this is Fixed only for Harshit.

I belongs to the state of Orissa. I am regularly watching the contest since from the begning. I am very much fond of singing also like indian film song between 60 to 90. in this contest all r singing well and tough but when the case of comparison arise then i would like to tell that Harshit should be the VOICE OF INDIA. Bcoz his tone is a melodious tone and he can sang everytype song. He is tone having a lots of potentiality, Josh and dam. what are the requirements of play back singer that is avaialble in Harshit. So he should be the voice of India otherwise the entire show will be floped if Harshit will be eliminated this week.

This year VOI was a clear setup for all the singers except one and he will be sure crowned as crap of India, his name is HORSE SHIT….
To me, he was declared forged winner when IRFAN got eliminated and all of the judges were so excited… go and see how Lalit/Aadesh embraced each other…what a shame…

one is surprised to find that evryone is jealous of Ishmeet having secured good votes despite adverse and somtime humilating comments from the moderators/judges or so called authority on music/voice. Ishmeet possesses his original voice. why he is being compared to others or he is supposed to perform or copy the original format of the song.
If the voting pattern is based on region or religion the percentage of the region or religion is just 1.5 to 2% of total population of India.Where the rest 98.5% have gone?

Harshit has no original or creative voice quality. He can be good in singing for resturants, clubs and parties. He is able to copy Kishore Da etc.

Well, so who is it. Abhaas or Harshit! To me, there was only one VOI- that is Toshi. The others don’t measure. But if given a choice, I think Abhaas is any day better than Harshit. POOR POOR VOI. The first year and they goofed it up. I really pity Lata. maybe she should have come in earlier. Looks like she is set for the nightmare of her life.

I think “Spoiler” is not a relevant title for this section. There is nothing left in the show to get spoilt. I do not have any evidence but its been quite sometime I have been feeling that this is a rigged show.
The sooner your favoutite contestant gets out of the show (and gets a break in the real world), the better it is.
It would be a sheer wastage of Lata Mangeshkar or Maa Saraswati’s (as per Shaan) time to preside over this show!

went thru the comments…let me tell you one thing with Irfan’s dismissal the shows charm is dead. They only saving grace was Abhaas now that if he is also out.. it simply proves that SVOI is sheer waste of time. I really don’t understand what is so great about Harshit, if you all have observed he safely sings only Kishore Kumar’s or Kumar Sanu songs . Wonder why Lalit and Aadesh go gha gha about Harshit. There is just no talent displayed he is so monotonous . Irfan and Abhaas experimented on all kind of songs . I pray God they both shine well in their career as singers.
I think Shaan should stop telling SATYAMEVA JAYATE, SACHEY SUROON KI JAY JAYKAR ,coz truth has already been defeated , SVOI is full of bias and is all about symathy votes and no talent. God knows whether results they announce are authentic.

After readung all this above i would like to reply to adnan from Pakistan..if u say no one should copy then why copy nussrat fateh ali sb.Toshi does not have a quality voice..looks like a good qawalli voice…nothing other than that..u minutely observe his performances..his voice goes “haywire” / “fat jaati hai” when he sings..
He may definitely be a good singer but definitely not the voice of india…

I am forced to respond to your post.
I am a Muslim and I am a huge fan of Toshi and in my SVOI list Irfan comes second followed by Arshpreet, Aditi (who did not even make it the Bemisal Barah).
Amongst my all time favourite singers are Pandit Kumar Gandharva, Abida Parveen, Ustaad Ahmed Hussain Muhammad Hussain, Kailash Kher and the list goes on.
For me music is the easiest way to connect with God and hence the easiest religion to follow.
Whilst I admit there may be followers of Toshi and Irfan who support them becoz they are Muslim, similarly there may be followers who support Harshit becoz he is a Hindu and same may be the case with Ishmeet.
But by putting all Muslims in the same “religious fanatics basket” you display your utter ignorance of music and people’s sensitivities and sentiments.
I am deeply offended by your comments.

again AS another latest news is he has hired a manager for him…he is bz in recording as per information…he and his brother both r bz in recording…most probably with sajid wajid(not conf. with whom)…he has had a big concert on 4th nov and going to have another on 11 nov in Jaipur…his album will be released after a few months as per info.

I am a frequent reader of the posts in this site, though this is first time i m postin something. I agree with most of the comments here, and my favourite singer is Harshit, and this is the reason I think he should be voted out. Its just about the contract… The singer who wins the contest will be under a contract for one year.. in the span of which, he will be singing as a guest in star plus shows, will be launching an arbirary pop album(future unpredictable) and will not be able to sing for any movie during that time… remember the case with Abhijeet Sawant(Indian Idol 1). And 1 year is a big time that ppl forget voice and names… so if Harshit aspires for a big future in bollywood singing I just hope he does not win the finals…

Well said Kanu. I don’t think true music lovers even bother about the religion or region of their favourite singer. Same goes for me. I don’t think there is anyone as good as Toshi. He is simply the best. Sanjaya comment reeks of communal racism.

Here is the latest update: Nobody has been eliminated in the today’s recording which will be telecast on friday. it will be diwali on friday so it will be a day of celebration and the happy faces will be served on the sets of VOI and not only this, All contestants will get new chevrolet spark as their diwali gift. And as for as the result is concerned, it will be declared on saturday. And the recording for that episode will be done tomorrow. so hopefully the results will be out by tomorrow evening. Afterall judges also need some time to do the better fixing

I have been told this by a close resource who directly works on the Set of SVOI..The reason this is occuring to subside the loss of Irfan and Toshi..please do not pay attention to the comments of the judges they are mearly following a Script. Ishmeet to what I am hearing is already set up with the BIG Music contract and will be the SVOI..Abbass will be also getting a contract to sing in the New Movie with Karen Johar. This is not a reality show but a drama, my source tells me that decisions have alreay been made on who is out and who is in. They have a internal meeting amongst the judges and the producers of the show, on how they would like to proceed with the Drama. I am totally shocked at the news that this is a real life Drama. Everyones comments have been Scripted even the first Toshi elimination with his brother being in the audience. Priyani was also given a contract prior to her dismissal she is going to work on Playback music with Alka new Music Company that is Financed by Star Corp. You see all these decisions have been made, and Drama put in place to create more ratings for the show. I will post more when I hear from my contact

Dear Poonam, Shweta is not the only one rooting for Aabhas. There are may more and I am just one amongst his huge number of fans. So please check your facts before venting out. Aabhas, by the way is not a kid, certainly not in terms of his voice quality and his vertsatility. On the other hand, many other contestants do look like Baccha’s in front of his singing. I hope that he proceedes to the finals and wins to ensure that Sacche Suron Ki Jay jay kaar Hoti rahe!

And when they did chose him for the initial 12, he has as much right to win the show and get “however” votes like anyone else!!!!

To use Lalitji’s language, why do you say ‘anaap-shanaab’ things about the remaining contestants? If you want to talk ill, talk to the public, curse the public through these columns. Yes, the contestants did ask for votes as do other contestants in other reality shows. But, it it these very people, the public who voted ‘anaap-shaanb’ for Ishmeet and are now blaming him for his poor quality of singing. Vent your frustration at the public and not at the contestants! Each one of us knows the + and - of Abhaas, Ishmeet and Harshit. In my opinion, all contestants have behaved very well on stage, even Toshi. It is THESE VERY people, the Toshi-maniacs who have ruined him and brought about his downfall.
I am a die-hard Abhaas fan. No matter however he sings or whatever he sings, I feel he cannot be wrong.
I was also an intense Toshi-song lover. But it is now because of the MANIACS who write in these columns who have made me ‘hate him’ I am very sorry for the crude language! Try as I might to give up, I am hooked onto this website!

Glad that finally some sense seems to have
prevailed amongst voting audiences and they
put Aabhash through in the crucial stage
as in this voting round he seemed to be the most
vulnerable,what with several judges openly biased
in favour of Harshit and with Ishmeet looking
impregnable with his vote bank.
Finally truth has prevailed.
Aabhash was always the best and I am glad

This quesion about how the finals are going
to be decided ,whether based on Lataji’s judging
alone, or on public voting or some mixture of two(?) is ofcourse of paramount importance.
Personally I feel these people are too greedy
not to let the public vote for the finals during
which they must hope to rake in a huge amount
of money through sms’s etc. They had said something like Lataji will have a BIG say in
the final judgement but at the same time the
commercial factor must weigh in favour os public
voting also. All this nonsense about Lataji
or whoever is the “judge” awarding points which
dont count for anything ,and then letting the
public decide has been done all along the course
of the show. If they bring in such a huge
personality as judge,it is worthwhile ONLY if
the final decision is made based on her judgement.
It would be ofcourse more than acceptable if
there were several such eminent people as
independent judges for the final and each were
to award points and the averages taken.

We have never had so many conflicting reports
about the results on this forum before.
It started yesterday with reports about Abhaas
being eliminated ,then there were strong reports
about Harshit being voted out and Abhaas winning
the bike, then again quite a few reports abouts
there being no elimination on tuesdays recording,
including from people who claimed they had
their relatives present on the show.
So for heaven’s sake, can we have something

The news that Abhaas has been voted out is doing the rounds in many website for the past few minutes.
The elimination episode that is to atke place on Friday was recorded yeasterday (Tuesday). But there was no elimination because the telecast is on Diwali. So the recording of the saturday episode took place today, which was an elimination episode. Thus in today’s episode Abhaas has been voted out. So Ishmeet and Harshit are into the finals. I do not believe the reports about Abhaas being given the bike. A very heart-breaking news indeed!
More heart-breaking is the news that Ismeet got the highest number of votes + another bike.

I think Indians should behave democratically and vote for those who really sing well. I myself is Punjabi but I think Ishmit is being favored by his community. People please don’t ruin this show which I thought was better than Indian Idol but stage is set for repeat of what happened there. Ishmeet doesnt have a lotta support but i think what support he gets is just a flick from judges…
Alka is the only neutral as it seems since all the girls have been eliminated…
i have a serious problem with Jatin he finds flaws in Ishmeet, found them in Toshi, in Harshit and somehow Abhaas sings flawless for him day in day out…Coincidence i guess…
Abhijeet is too inconsistent in his comments to make him judgeable…maybe he has been hit hard by irfan’s elimination…
Now things have gotten so outta hand that if someone makes a comment on a judge’s favourite they totally blast him remember abhisjeet and harshit…
The points on performance mean nothing anymore (they should as they are a professional opinion of judges on performance of a candidate)…they are giving 9 on the trot…this appreciates the concept of people voting for those who like alot or are from their reigon…
All i can say is they got it wrong when they divided the teams and Jatin is a horrible neutral he doesnt seem neutral…
All the judges have stopped being critical to all of the contestant…they havenot become perfect have they?

If that was possible Irfaan will still be in as Abhijeet wanted , Abhilaasha will still be in as Alka ji wanted etc.. etc.. I think some people are too emotional on this site since Toshi’s elimination. I wanted to ask you, how do you find out results… as I have seen that yours is always right. Ishmit got the most votes. More you guys says bad words for him and he will get more votes. Judges tried their level best, humilated him, insulted him and now you can see, it back fired them. Voting system is excellent. It shows people want different which they found in Ishmit and Hershit.

If the news of Abhaas’s elimination is true then grand finale is going to be very interesting because it will be between the best(Harshit) and the worst(Ishmeet). No wonder, with tremendous support from Punjab, Ishmeet might become the VOI and run away with the trophy.
I believe the best one will win, rather then commenting on the singers lets see how brave and confident they were to perform and to reach to the satge. Every contestant of Star Voice of India have their plus points for instance lets see Toshi he could have sung songs of what Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan had sung, Irfan had his own way and definitely could become a palyback singer and likewise Harshit he got a style. Well people got their own taste so have the judges. So please let not comment on people. The best will win and its you people whose voting for them.

This show now looks like a match fixing. It seems that judges and everyone whoever is behind this show wants harshit to be number 1. I dont know how judges are judging them. Only abijit seems to be a geniune guy. I came to know about this stupid fixing when irfan was eliminated before harshit. The qawali sung by ishmit was one of the worst performance and still he is in the show. Sumitra was singing like a real singer and she is out. I apeal everyone to avoid watching such a time waste shows.
Ishmit will definitely win the SVOI title; there is no doubt about it. At the end of the day it is the winner that matters. Every one knows that Ishmit does not deserve the title; I believe certain people are playing this game for whatever reason, definitely not music.
SVOI never revealed the voting system, there is no Auditing, any one can vote as many times as one wants, I think in the name of Music some one is making lots and lots of money, I hope Government of India is keeping a watch.
Guys! Looks like every one is getting too personal. It does not matter, all of us have our opinions, at the end of the day it is the winner that counts. These days there are dime a dozen music directors and singers, unlike yester years these guys will come and go and life goes on. Enjoy the show while it is on.
This was the best show on star plus till now, but it seems to be a time waste after they eliminated the good and strong singers. Toshi according to abijit was a perfect and trained singer, then where is he - out of the show. This is rediculous to have harshit and ishmit there and abahas and irfabn and toshi are out. The songs sung by abahas are the one which no one can sing in this show and he is send back to jabalpur. I can only say that this all judges fault. They are responsible for all this. They are earning and getting benifit out of it and nothing else.

since irfan was voted out of VOI.. i lost my craze for this show… but TOSHI’s presence kept me glued to the TV ever firday saturday…but then even TOSHI was voted out, leaving ABHAAS as my only reason to watch the show

After elimination of Tooshi and Irfan
If Abhas is also eliminated then this show will not have any charm.Because only Abhas can sing all type of song (old or new)excellently among thes three.Harshit is in final because of sympayhy of india not because of voice quality.
attention:- Zaki,J,Shewta,Rovino,Raj,i respect all the commentators but the fact of the matter is the show came to an abrupt end moment Toshi was booted out i apparently fail to understand why all what happened had happened. For me and i can be wrong and open for corrections the few reasons why Toshi got eliminated are as follows:
1. Couple of episodes back jatin asked him what will he do if he were to become star voice of india he (Toshi) said i will have my parents done a Pilgrimage.
2. He got 2 bikes so people thought of saving the contestants of chakarvaat because for them Toshi has had all the hurdles cleared.
3. The judges ohhh!!! i am at pains in calling them a judge were all biased one way or the other and passed comments ruthlessly affecting the performances and also guiding people toward wrong partial prejudiced and colored ends.
4.Guest appearances Manoj you did what no body could he gave Toshi a curse in disguise of a blessing shame on you for being outrageously stupid at such a crucial juncture and also showing that you are a callously insensitive artist i presume everyone knows and fully understands the impact it renders on the so called voting frenzy this did served as a last nail in the coffin
As a paki-canadian have been to india twice and smelt off and on prejudice toward religions and ethnic backgrounds however i feel again right or wrong spare me for coming up with it that his being a muslim has a lot to do with his fate in the dramatic svoi
i also felt that he was never throughly applauded and appreciated by the so called unperceptive, uncomprehending and purblind dim sighted mandarins sorry i have been very blasphemous throughout the commentary but not afraid to call a spade a spade i guess

I personally felt that Abhaas is a silly kid who wants to prove hes grown up,never like Ishmeet,yeah yeah I am half sikh,but i dont wnat him to win. I mean he has a good voice but his sur is like SHIT. He needs to mature up a bit. Harshit deserves VOI.My personal faves have always been Toshi,Priyani & Harshit.And oh,alkaJI & jatinJI are the worst judges,they are a**holes.It’s all serious crap now.
According to me,public voting shud be allowed till top5..then until the final two,judges should choose out of top 5.then when finals are happening,continue it for two episodes and allow public voting.

Sir you made sense in most of the points but I do not agree that Toshi’s ouster had anything to do with his being Muslim..infact if I mention how much Muslims have been appreciated in India specially in arts would be repeating the same thing again and again…Infact there were 2 Muslims in the final 3 in SRGMP and one was Pakistani..
Most of the Pakistani singers find fame in India and I won’t even go and count the names for you..
A lot of hopeless things have happened in this show..but whatever happened to Toshi was not because of religious grounds..Look at Abhas..He is a good singer (and a Hindu) but every time he ends up being in Chakravat…Infact before his ouster, Irfan hardly ever came in Chakravat and he even got the highest votes the week he was eliminated..
No, if the music or art really touches your heart, you forget the religion of the person..

I fully agree with you. I dont think Toshi and Irfan’s elimination had anything to do with their religion, but their talent and in my opinion the threat it caused to the judges favourite Harshit!
However, on such a public platform justice must not only be done, but it must be SEEN to be done. The current panel is an all Hindu panel, so irrespective of their integrity doubts will be raised by certain viewers. This should have been taken into consideration by the producers and wider variety of judges should have been chosen.
But then this whole SVOI has turned out to be a circus…. no planning whatsover!

There is no bias towards anybody in the show. The distance covered by a participant is proportional to the votes he got from the public. The voting results are fair. Once somebody’s favourite gets out he brings out all sorts of discrimination theories. If the judges were so powerful then why despite disliking the singing of Ishmeet, he is still in the show ? Public sab janta hai. Do not blame the show organisers or judges. Blame the kismat of the participant and the public.

Some say Abhaas, some say Toshi, some say Harshith, some say Irfan……………sooooo clearly shows the kind of competition in SVOI….
It is probably the only music show where ppl r not able to decide who is better than the other……..So clearly the winner is SVOI thats all i can say……
whereas in SAREGAMAPA there was absolutely no competition till last round….In Indian Idol there were hardly any well trained singers….
