Sanjay Leela Bhansali, person with a great music sense, is on stage and looks like it’s going to be an exciting episode.

It is an imperative that vote appeal should b in none other than our official language “Hindi” (except english). Few of the contestants sentimentally using their mother tongue, which is unfair. This show is meant for Voice of INDIA and not for Voice for particular state r for particular language. All d best.

First of all, thanks for putting all the videos of the songs and their original version. You have been doing it very diligently for so long! Hats off to your patience and effort!!!
And yes, I like your style of writing too.
But I have a little different opinion than yours. I think Toshi and Ashpreet sang much better than others. Priyani did try a song which is quite difficult to sing, but I did not find it impressive.
I am little confused to comment on Abhaas’s performance…I am not sure but I have a feeling had any other contestant sung this song, probably it would have had the similar effect. You can’t forget that Wild Card entry judges did not select Abhas in the list of 4…and I have been progressively losing faith in the regular judges of VOI!
May be they should have selected 2 or 3 different types of songs (classical to modern, with lot of variation in the pitch) and should have asked all the contestants to sing all the songs to help people differentiate who sings better!
On a different note, I think StarPlus should bar the entry of all family members to the show. I understand it could be a touching moments for parents sometimes, but this could also act as unspoken mercy appeal for some. It will also help the audience to focus more on singing!
Besides, these competitions are like exams for the contestants…when we are not allowed to take anyone during exams why can’t they apply similar rules here as well?
I agree with your opinion that Toshi played a sympathy card. But he has seen his rivals playing it many times before…and it has worked for them. Though judges usually praise him, he does not seem to be a favourite of any of them ( the regular judges I mean). So I don’t think it is unfair to do what he did, esp when you see so much of drama around! Needless to say he sings really well and I hope he would be back to VOI and should sail to top!
Finally, a thought thats been hammering my mind ever since I watched the show:
Does it not appear obvious that Sanjay Leela Bhansali almost said that Toshi and Abhas are his choice of the two chosen ones? If you try to compile his discrete statments after their performances? Or is it my biased interpretation?
Wow, Abhas again delivered a gem of a performance! My other choice for the day was Arshpreet who sang really well. Abhas’s biggest strength lies in his humble attitude and his purity of spirit did get reflected in the song ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. No points for guessing that it was received very well by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and he also earned accolades form the judges. The guy has the potential to rise very high and with the blessings of God and the wishes of his well wishers, he is sure to make it big soon!
It will be intersting to see which two participants make it through the wild card. May the best singer win!
My favourites today were..Abhaas and Arshpreet!
Shweta come on.. TOSHI was Excellent… he was better then ASH… and yes ABHAAS killed it… hes awesome..

Nazyr, I liked Toshi alot till he begged on his knees for votes! He is awesome no doubt……he didnt have to do that. And abhaas….:P He is outstanding! I dont even care wethr he comes back or not…..coz I know he is already a star! He is definately going to sing in Hindi movies very soon.
hmmm i do not know how much ‘m right but i ve feeling that…. judges already selected the contestants which they want to bring back to stage. Snajay also showed his inclination towards abhass n toshi from the begining. i mean toshi is good… but,i don know! ‘woh humdardee ziyadi jama karr raha hay’!and he s typo singer,not verstile.
aur jab wild card mai itnay baaray baray naam bithayee thay for judgment tu abhass ko wapis lanay ke vito power kis nay de Jatin Pandit ko? eik taraf tu un ke judgement ka mazaq uraya and on the other hand… doodh ka doodh pani ka pani!they supported abhaas v badly. ye 5 judges un mai say eik k bhe brabar nahe! isn’t it?
priyani is best of best… she shud come back… she deserves. she’s a verstile singer… she proofs herself. aur us ke last performance pr jatin saheb ka koi comment na dena,sanjay L ka comment all sounds fishy fishy!

HI Uzma u r right that judges have not done a right thing by bringing back Abhaas using veto power it really seems that they have not done justice…They called such honourable people make them judges and then did’nt accept there decision its really too bad…..but I dont like ur this sentence “i mean toshi is good… but,i don know! ‘woh humdardee ziyadi jama karr raha hay’!and he s typo singer,not verstile.” Plz yaar aisi baatain mat karo saaray contestants humdardi jama kar saktay hain so why cant he or wo koi aisay hi to nhi na humdardi maang raha hai or na hi log itnay achhay hain k agr use singing nhi aati to use utha kar dhara dhar vote karengay….Grow up yaar logon ko bhi pata hai kon achha gaata hai or kon bura…. Toshi is not a typo singer agar aisi baat hoti to he must have not sung that song “sohni de nakhray sohnay lagde”,”kaho na kaho”etc.hai k nhi so plz dont say like this agar toshi ne sympathy maangi hai to logon ko thori sympathy to dikhani chahye jab wo nhi batata tha kuchh to logon ne kabhi suna bhi nhi or na hi sahi votes diye to phr use aisa karna para na so plz plz aisay mat kaho mujhe sach main bht bura laga…is lye im replying to u dont mind plz thanks

I was just wondering how many of you liked the lil performance by Irfan at the end. I really hope that he performs the full song in an episode in the near future.
