Results of 5th October Episode
Once again it’s results time.
Unsurprisingly, Toshi received the highest number of votes. We don’t need James Bond to tell us that.
Shaan tells us that between Abhaas and Priyani, the difference in votes was only 16. And I would ask why do you need to announce that? Just to have another controversy? Just so that Abhijeet spout some more sense from his non-functioning brain? Just so that we can have another gimmick of secret ballot?
Actually, I am speechless. I advocated the wild card round but right now things are little out of hand. I mean, we had Top 4 and now we are back to Top 7! I would say that all this exercise is worth it if we have some powerful performances from all the contestants. Here’s hoping for the best.

I feel VOI is going sore.The wild card entry turned out to be just a gimmick to bring back Toshi and abhaas. If the public remembers Abhaas was not selected by the special jury for the wild card entry . he could come back coutesy extreme partiality by the “neutral” judge! and poor Sumitra Iyer inspite of herloud claims to be a maharastrian was left licking her wounds for leaving a rewarding career in IT. Nobody seems to recognise the melody called Arshpreet either…Until the wild card entry it was the public which proved to be an ass; now its the judges who are being partial! The performances were exceptionally good and one could feel Harshit straining to match Toshi’s tempo. Three cheers to toshi, Irfan and sumitra. If only the last name hadnt gone into oblivion!
thanks for supporting the real talent of VOI my mean its TOSHI finally he got it his position i pray for the upcoming episode in which TOSHI sung their song perfectly becuase we are hoping for the best from TOSHI keep it up & we pray for your success u r truly the deserving person
THIS IS INJUSTICE TO FINAL 4. THEY ADDED THREE FAILED ONES.
it was good if only toshi might be added but they added 3 ppl which is a not only injustice to final 4 but with audience too. this show is losing its popularity with its injust desicions. the real injustice done so far is with Sumitra. she could be added thru vito because she is really a gr8 singer. man show is going down. judges are injust
Wow, what an amazing transformation of a reality talent show turning into a comedy circus, thanks to KNOW-IT-ALL judges, they have abused the verdict of the general public time and again (why did they add two more contestants to the FAB 4 when only one was supposed to be selected)the recent episode was only the tip of the iceberg.None of the contestants should be blamed because it is not their fault.
On the flip side why is no one voicing their concern regarding the injustice FORCED on the Top 4
- Toshi got another chance via wild card
- Priyani got two additional chances (wild card + veto)
- Ahbaas has got three additional chances (wild card was introduced for him, veto and lastly only one was to be selected out of three but 2 out of three were initially selected)
BTW why did the judges not passionately support Sumitra the way did for Ahbaas & Priyani, and to make it worse Jatin’s remark on Abhilasha’s voting was very immaturish, even if she had written NO to Priyani coming back, it is HER opinion … does Jatin want veto power to vote on behalf of the contestants now ?
SVOI-2007 has lost its charm, the following episodes leading to the finals will just be formality (a show without a soul)
I liked the “ON” “NO” trick that ’some’ participant pulled out! I dont know who he/she was but sure has a diplomatic excellence.

This has just lost it ….it is highly unorganised …it’s like they have gona away from the actuaul concept of the show …this show is not a talent hunt ..but more like a circus where you Monkey’s (Judges) , Ring Leaders (Shan , Gajinder singh ), Then you have your lions and tigers ( The Top 4 Contestents before the Wild cards )…..Why can’t they understand that this is a Slap on the Top 4 contestants that you are not that great and this show has lost most of the Viewers so where gona bring not 1 not 2 but 3 ppl back !!…Are you fucken out of your mind VOI ???…..This gota be the shitiest show / unorganised show ever in india …not the best work of Gajindera singh by far …..
P.S : Request to gajindera Ji …Next Time get better judges who are capable of makeing Decisions and not get emotional and promote one singer all the time ….and to the PPL around the world who are reading this comment me back on this if iam wrong , but this show has already piced out the winner and it’s TOSHI , am i wrong or am i right ? - It’s a SAD SAD thing ….
all drama of wild card entry was created by judges to bring toshi & abhass back to scene…
and priyani wasn’t selected after veto power.. she was the actuall wild card entry!!! remember asbhaas wasn’t selected by guest judges(most honourable personalities)
it was a MAJBOORI of all judges to keep her in show for a week or 2(keep watchin;))…
ANYWAYS VOI has no charm anymore… it’s not a real talent show… all based on judges choice,and favrism!!

All judges are stupid.They have to watch sara ga ma judges. they have to learn lesson from them
hmmmm… interesting… well i can guess who where the 2 contestants who said no.. 1- ABHILASHA (C**T), 2- HARSHIT (P***K),,.. cuz these were the 2 ppl who said NO to wild card entry…. if they are that good and confident of em selves they shouldn’t be afraid of any other contestants hate both of em.. Like irfan said he trusts his fans… wat a man he is… well ppl it was only bcoz of 16 votes… wat u lot wud have done? i ain’t in favor of priyani… i don’t like her either… but i think wat judges did was right.. neways.. every one has their own opinion..

I feel this show has turned into absolute mockery. If the judges want power this show should not have gone for public voting. As far as best singers are concerned not body can beat Arshpreet she sings difficult songs with so much ease. Toshi who is absolutely brilliant and Abhaas who has so much depth. Rest are all mediocre singers and judges’ pets. This is just a game show if you want best singers just rely on the panel judgement if you want publics favourite then go by the spirit of voting. It is very hard to be an unbiased judge and all the five judges have failed according to me.
It’s funny that everyone is considering this show a mockery now that judges are actually making decisions. What’s up with that!? If anything, the public voting system is the part that makes the show a mockery. Public voting should never have been there, in which case Toshi, Abhaas wouldn’t have been eliminated and the judges wouldn’t have to do all this stuff to get them back. I won’t comment on Priyani but Toshi and Abhaas should never have been out and so having them back is just correcting the wrong things, nothing more. If that means that some undeserved person who is in the top 4 has to compete with these superior performers again, so be it.
The best thing that should now be done is to either give the judges 50-60% of the decision making power when eliminating someone or give them total control like it was before the top 12. But obviously the producers are earning a good share of the money coming in from sms, so why would they do it.

After all what the hell are the judges doing sitting up there if everything is in the hands of millions of people who don’t know a fraction of the stuff that these 5 judges know.

Things getting ABSOLUTE nonsense in ASVOI- Sumitra was on # 4 and now not even in the current 7. It happens only in ( star voice of ) India!!

You all people see Irfan’s awesome performance how he was comfortable in classical action the best singer in VOI history truley deserve king of this contest, but sadly i see agni judges thinks that there’s nobody genius like us, VOI fix by agni judges they all shud kick out for the sake of this contest.
I disagree with the public voting on all these talent shows, because we are not trained to hear a singer’s voice in a live performance and judge how he/ she will sound when they, their face and personality are hidden in a sound studio and all you see is the movie star in front. We also get swayed by regional biases - look at the way Ishmeet stays in the reckoning week after week despite a weak voice, due to Punjab rooting for him.
I was very sad to see Abhaas go, because he is one of the most talented singers and the most versatile - from rock to comedy songs to romantic to tragic numbers, he has sung them all successfully. I am glad he has come back.
It is absolutely disgusting how some singers are being promoted by the judges over the others. It is not VOICE OF INDIA but the voice of some really deplorable judges - namely abhijeet and friends! These people were never really successful in their careers and it is amazing how quick they are to “JUDGE” other people’s singing prowess. There are some really good singers on the show and they have never got their due- because of people like abhijeet and co who think that they rule this world
watever the hype is there….obviously these kind of shows are in market for making money..so the public voting and all bull shit is there…but if talent comes in mind then the judges should be cursed as they feel priyani and abhilaasha are more talented then fabulous sumitra and awsum arshpreet….
What is the point of these wildcard entries? It is not fair to those who have lasted for longer. They don’t get a second chance do they? And this whole contestants voting drama - why can’t they just ask the judges?
Anyway, I agree with anyone who says that public voting should be stopped. They should also stop bringing in guests who do not understand music because it is no fun to listen to what they have to say.
I HATE THESE JUDGES!!! They have no manners at all, and they show clear favourites. And why do they change their minds about the singing every time - SO ANNOYING!
Oh well, I was glad to see Abhaas and Toshi and Priyani back.
