Neutral Zone Voting Results
After one round of performances, Shaan announces voting results from ‘neutral zone’.
Since last two weeks I wanted to write about the nonsense that is ‘neutral zone’ details they have started showing.
My first question: What is Gaji smoking these days? Seriously.
Did he not learn his lesson from SRGMP 06? In 2006, they were showing these break down of votes and the result was that, certain ‘zone’ started voting furiously for contestant from their hometown instead of voting for the talent. I am afraid same is going to happen this time around and biggest gainer will be Ishmit. I believe Punjabis are comparitively richer community and they would vote for Ishmit not only because he is ‘Punjab Da Puttar’ but the way he has been put down by some judges [Lalit, Abhijeet and Aadesh, I am pointing finger at you.]
At current stage, you might want to rename the show from ‘Voice Of India’ to ‘Richest Community/Zone of India’ and be done with it.
What do you say?

Dear J,
I agree. Rich communities do vote in large numbers as they can afford it — at the expense of better contestants like Abhaas. A bitter truth.
Star Voice of India (SVOI) needed Secular Voters of India to select the winner voice. This didn’t work.
So Toshi was brought in and it quickly became Sectarian Voters of India.
With this ‘neutral zone’ drama now, it has become ‘State-wide Voting of India.
People really need to vote for talent now.
That apparently seems to be the problem with some fanatical Indians. I wish people would vote for talent not religion or geography. That way there was only one real Star Voice of India- and that is Toshi. This is my personal and deep hearted view. Do not need fanatics to comment on this. You are the best Toshi
