Another surprise was happend in the final day. Inspite of 2/3 times Avilasha stoped her song for her inconvenience but Alka again declared
her best female contestant ! Very surprise! Where is Prantika, Aspreet ? They are the best best female singer now in the music industry. No doubt about it. Gajender singh remember it and all judges known tho the fact very well but they are ignoring the true, very very sad.

Well wht had happened in VOI I m not interested in the results but I must say one thing that judges has proved that they r religion concious and they willl never let any Muslim singer to lead the race even if voting system has lost such brilliant singers but judges know who is the best singer among all
TOSHI and Irfan without any doubt were the best singers and TOSHI was the spark of the show even then He didnt get judges’prize and not even Irfan got that
ABHAAS inspite of being the youngest contender and an immature singer(no doubt he is a good singer but he has a lot of time to be a best singer)got that judges award…..and secondly Abhilasha was a good singer but every one knows it that she was not better than SUMITRA in all respects SUMITRA was the real singer but as she(ABHILASHA)Was the YOUNGEST CONTENDER she got that trophy with a CAR wht is this????? KIA ACHHA SINGER BANNAY K LYE 17 YA 18 YEARS KA HONA ZRURI HAI???

I must say k aap main se kayee logon ko yeh baat achhi nhi lagegi but fact is a fact as it was clear in SA RE GA MA PA That Amanat was Muslim and he was Pakistani thats why he didn’t get votes from indians HOWEVER internationally he got first position but when India’s votes were counted he got third…THE REASONS ARE HE WAS PAKISTANI & MUSLIM
SECOND internationally RAJA got 2nd position as he was the superb singer in all I must say he was the real singer of SA RE GA MA PA but when India’s votes were counted RAJA was still on 2nd the reason is that he is Muslim he just got 2nd position as he was Indian and AMANAT was not….
And Aneek(he is also the brilliant singer but desrved to be on second or third)he got 1st prize …

for me finale was just okie … we all know ishmeet not a great singer but i think he has good voice ans hard worker and marketing material and it will be sold in market … even srk looks yuksss but he sells in market … so three cheers for ishmeet to win the comptition ..and i shouldnt say he is bad he rocked the stage many times… i don’t think harshit was better then ishmeet or a rock star .. he missed his lines and screwed the songs in the middle stages of competition for which h should be standing out of competition … so both were equal some one like toshi and irfan and sumitra who were best performers missed the finale were more deserving …but for now i guess ..ishmeet not bad choice and stop being racist guys …. we all know both have them were equally good and equally bad .. …so stop being stupid ..

First of all I would like to congratulate the winner of VOI Ismit Singh on his victory despite being demoralised by the judges that seems very clearly and also those who pose this ill comments about him.If there are great well known actors ,personalities and singers who had been invited to the show and said great things about Ismit singing capabilities,I think we should respeect their deccision too or else they can be considered as liars. If the great personalities had endorsed him who are to disagree. So please think twice before you critise anybody and even worst are those who start comparing races,religion and also countries of the participants. Everybody has their own favourites so just learn to accept what was the final judment. Win or lose its a competition. Accept the facts. If any of my words did hurt any of your feelings I do appologise in advance. Once again I wish Ismit all the best in his singing career
Congrats to Ishmeet and best of luck to both of them. I am very much glad that it happened. And the reasons are:
1. Despite not a learner Ishmeet has a sweet and nice voice. On the other hand with much knowledge in music Harshit the Dady Cry baby is basically a copy cat singer but has some powers in his voice. And it’s always better to see a singer of his owns than a copy cat one.
2. If you observe the last 3 episodes, then it will be crystal clear to you that, Ishmeets performances were much better than Harshit.
3. Ishmeet never received any favorisms or asked for that from the judges (Except sometimes from Abhijeet). On the other hand, Harshit always tried to get sympathy votes by excusing blind Dadi Ma and till last moment he received favorsfrom the judges just like always.
4. Despite Ishmeet is not so much talented singer like TOSHI, IRFAAN, SUMTRA, ARSHPREET and ABHAAS, atleast he reached to the GRAND FINALE by peoples votes. But believe me, though Harshit is a good singer (Also a copy cat singer) he reached to the Grand Finale by the mercies of stupid judges and stupid Gajj.
So before saying anything plz consider on these issues and than comment. U will get yr answers.

hi guys, in some aspects hina is right because this was not voice of india it was voice of punjab toshi is our voice of india not ishmeet and he won because he was a punjabi plus a sikh, thats what we should accpet as a truth. this is really calle racism. ishmeet still needs alot of time to get the title of VOI, but toshi whose talent and voice is beyond this show really deserved the title. i am not saying it because i am a muslim but i am saying it becauase it is a fact. sorry if we said too much. I think a lot of us were provoked because we did not see any justfication in your post. And also because many people try to impose their own ideology to divide people. Indian society has a big acceptance for people of all religions - this is no secret. Pick up any celebrity magazine and you will see it for yourself.

@ Nudma, we are not saying that there are no problems in india. We have several problems like poverty, corruption, unemployment and even caste system. But there is one problem we can proudly say we dont have - that is religious bias. In the recent decades there have been some politically instigated propblems, but still at the social level hindu-muslims-sikhs-christians-jains etc… are the one. This is refelected at all levels of the power structure, not just any particular post.
2. You say that muslims who are famous are because of their own merit. This is of course true. But the merit of the society is that it gives a fair chance to people of all religion to rise and materialise their talents.
3. What john says about terrorism is bitter but unfortunately true. We fully sympathise with people of pakistan and muslims and non muslims of the world who suffer because of religions fundamentalists.
4. It is our duty as non-fundamentalists to stronly oppose fundamentalist statements. This is exactly what some of us are doing.

Message to mr gajendra singh whom i believe is the main person behind voi. It was a fantastc competition ruined by a very poor voting system. So next time please do try to come up with a better voting system.
Elimination/winner by percentage of zones giving votes to an individual would be a much better idea. I will really miss voi, some fantastic talents.

Nudma you are absolutely right. IT is no ehsaan on anyone that we have a muslim president and so on. The point was made because someone mentioned religious bias is rampant in india.
In any healthy system people should be able to rise to the positions they deserve irrespective of caste, creed, religion etc. I am proud that india has been increasingly trying to give this opportunity to its people. Our problem is not so much religion or caste but more poverty, illitracy and alienation. I personally am not in favour of religious governments, because they are by definition biased. Thats why i strongly oppose religious, right wing parties of any country.
It is NOT TRUE that highest positions in india are occupied by brahmins - i think it is quite the contrary since the implementation of the reservation policy over more than a decade now with more than 50% reservation for the backward castes and tribes.
I perfectly understand your anger. I feel the same when people talk badly of indian problems. I know they exist but its not nice to be pointed finger at by a third person. You being a science student should hold and support only progressive views. All these religious and caste divisions take us back several centuries. We should do our best to fight them. Peace..

It was quite a detour from SVOI but finally good to see our two neighbouring ladies smiling. May allah give you happiness and success.
I think music and singers have won but the organizers, voters, judges have lost the battle. This is a show that we made it a point to never miss, we sang with the group, we cried when any participants left the show. Irfan, Priyali, Toshi, Harshit Abbhaas were all so good. From the first show I was chasing and admiring Harshit, and would bet that Harshit will be in forefront. Then in between others were recognized as good singers, but sorry to say that i personally never considered Ishmit. Always thought that he will lose this time but he was there the next time.
I urge that the show must go on but the voting system should change so that the REAL TALENT is identified. Please do not repeat the same with small kids who are awesome.

First off what is WRONG with you people? Toshi couldn’t sing at all!! He had absolutely no talent whatsoever. Perhaps he would have sounded okay singing in a bar doing karaoke or something but he was NOT up to par with the others.
I thought Irfan had an awesome voice, however, his performance of Alvida was not up to par.
Abhaas should have won the VOI title as he was the one with the most versatility, training, talent, and ability to grow as a singer. His singing of “Naina Thag Lenge” was so beautiful it brought tears to many people’s eyes. Also, he won Judge’s Pick so if it were up to the judges (those who are skilled in the art of singing) he would have won.
When it was down to Harshit and Ishmeet it was simply a matter of geography and looks. Yupi (can’t spell that) against Punjab. It ceased to be a show based on singing ability and unfortunately turned into a show based on where a person was from.
Harshit didn’t win because he was not willing to grow as a singer and didn’t take the advice of the judge’s who know what they are talking about. He does have a great voice although his lisp could cost him some contracts.
Ishmeet had a better voice and I feel that out of the two he deserved the title of VOI more than Harshit.
Really though, the title should have been Abhaas’s.
Oh and guys stop the fighting about religion. It just isn’t worth it. Yes we will always have religious differences and yes history has proven a great deal of tension between Hindus and Muslims but if people carry on the hatred then it will never die. That was one thing I admired about Irfan. He always wanted 1 country, 1 love.
Let’s also not forget that fighting about/over religion is just as hypocritical/ridiculous as fighting for “peace”. It doesn’t make sense. Just embrace your faith and that’s all there is to it. Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian etc. we are, in the end, all HUMAN.
I TOTALLY AGREE WITH UR THOUGHTS ON HUMANITY AND RELIGION BUT TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH UR THOUGHTS ON WHO SHOULD HAVE WON VOI. I THINK HARSHIT REALLY DESERVED TO WIN, 2ND ABHAAS, 3RD TOSHI, 4TH IRFAN. 1. irfan ..amazing voice amazing verstality and great learner good person .. modest and powerpack performer probably should have been VOI.
2. toshi … power pack performer.. show stealer.. less versatile tough.. and average voice .. but knows to win the crowd with his singing ability and variation and knowledge of music.
3. aabhas… good voice knowledge of music.. naina thag lenge was class one.. but still need to grow … and need to be consistent.
4. harshit.. good voice ..very little verstality.. may be he can learn to be versatile .. copy cat yeah .. but good performer and show stealer.
5.sumitra. as good as irfan in every department .. best girl performer.VOI.
6. ishmeet. good romantic singer less versatile less knowledge of music.. but still know how to reach people so thumbs up to him
7. priyani wani .. hot chick ..

I felt Ishmit was working very hard throughout, he was very humble, willing to work ahead and he took judges’ demoralizing comments very respectfully and gracefully. I really respect Ishmit, he faced a lot of bullshit from the judges and still kept his cool. Other than that, he is a very good singer and has much potential in his voice. Very happy with the decision. Congratulations, Ishmit!
