Irfan was absolutely brilliant believe me a true lover wil cry hearing that performance. But unfortunately I dont know what happened to Ndhra people why r they running away frm giving votes to this legend Irfan. brother irfan I love you. You are undefeatable I swear.
Oct 26, was Irfan’s best proformance and it is very very sad to see him get eliminated. Andhra people should learn from other states how to defend their state lad- who represented them for this show.
Regrets to see the open partiality of the judges,especially Alka Yagnik,on Oct 26th after Irfans last proformance she calls him where she is seated- just to pat him for his best proformance. While on Oct 27, she jumps from her seat and hugs Abhaas. This shows, the joint efforts that have been put into- just to promote a particular person.How Partial can the judges be- while the whole World is watching them on their judgement.

like one lady voiced.. irfan was not given another opportunity..knowing tht he’s good.. all those judges there.. have favorites..i heard sumitra say tht.. no wonder she never wanted to come back.. they used a veto power on priyani..at such an early stage.. if they had tht..they could bring back..i wonder wat they all trying to prove.. those brothers there..are jus for a big show.. and gajju?? no excitement to see this SVOI.. each time we get upset… last time it was Toshi..and now Irfan, has to pay for it.. feel real bad for him.. I pray to God that he attain his dream in sangeet….

Hershit k bary main ye kehna chahoon ga k Bollywood ko Kishor Kumar mil gia hai.Abhijeet ne jo coments diy hain ye un k mun pe nahi perty mujy lagta hai k un ko jalousy hona shroo ho gai hai k Kishor Kumar kahan se dobara aa gia.

Don’t you guys see what is happening? The show is stacked in Toshi’s favor. They let him perform last etc. This show has lost its touch.
I will miss Irfan. He and Abhaas and Harshit were the humble ones. I love that group.

For me Irfan has been and is and will be the best and most consistent performer of this program,who has sung every type of song with equal ease and required emotions.It is sad to see even a talent show is not free of politics and favoritism in India.The very people who sit in the place of power to judge and guide these singers are doing it.For me this contest is over as it is very clearly rigged and the motto seems to be “May not the best win “.I wish Irfan the very best in life and hope he can keep on giving even better performances for all his singing fans and the world to hear.May you be always blessed.

What kind of competition is this? Irfan is eliminated and losers like Ishmit & Harshit are still there. There is no stopping of Ishmit to become the VOI…next one will be Abhaas and then Harshit & finally Toshi will be out and we’ll be blessed with our VOI ISHMIT…just like the Indian Idol was ended up with the loser Prashant Tamang & year before Sandeep Acharya…i think Indian audience is too immature to choose a “real talent”. we were much better off with having a panel of judges who can choose the real winner. After the elimination of Abhilasha, Priyani & Irfan this show is just a mockery. We should all stop watching…

A FEW FACTS ABOUT IRFAN
- He used to work in Wipro, Hyderabad and was doing very well for himmself.
- He has been learning music in a traditional school for many years now. His guru is a natitonal award winner.
- He has been looking for an appropriate platform in music for the last three years - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and then VOI (*With its unfair judges who speak about all aspects but music*)
- His heart of Gold: He has performed without creating any fuss in many of the local schools singing amidst the students.
- His parents have given two years time, if he does not attain a tangible success in this time he will have to return to the software field.
THE DIFFERENCE:
Irfan never spoke of all this to gain sympathy votes, he could have easily talked about his sick relatives, the other personal problems he faces (which I know cause I am part of the Hyderabad IT Industry and have networked to find out).
But he firmly believes that he should be voted only for his talent.
INDIA’s DECISION:
In the neutral zone he got the highest votes.
FOR SOME STATISTICS:
ONLY 24% of Andhra watches/understands Hindi. And only a percentage of them have cable and vote. So ALKA YAGNIK, instead of making derisive comments try and support the guy who respects you so much, and hello, you are his mentor, remember? At least don’t look SO happy when he is eliminated. Lost all my respect for you woman, you are cheap. Sorry. But that is the truth.

Rightly said. IRFAN is the best. He is the one who deserves to be the VOICE OF INDIA. All the judges except Abhijit are partial towards Harshit just because of regional feeling and for some other reasons.
I am not at all interested in watching this Star Voice of India anymore. Because i feel it’s not voice of India. It’s voice of these judges who don’t judge singers based on their talent.
I also feel that this WILD CARD ENTRY should have been conducted before finals so that IRFAN, ABHILASHA and the contestant who will be eliminated next week also gets a fair chance to come back as all other contestants got this opportunity. I wish i could do something for IRFAN to come back and become VOICE OF INDIA. But, for sure he is the VOICE OF INDIA.
IRFAN is an outstanding singer, a true professional in his dignity, simplicity and a pure GENTLEMAN.

What I liked about TADAP TADAP by IRFAN.
1. It contained the soul of the song: pain and anguish.
2. The notes were spelled with the precision and the glissando were GORGEOUS.
3. He added his own inflictions to the song in 4 different places. This is the improvisation that differentiates a good singer from a good imitator.
4. His facial expressions showed complete involvement.
5. The throw of the voice was very restrained despite the high pitch. This very, very difficult guys, believe me.
6. His reverberations did not falter even once.
7. Each word was articulated with clarity.
8. The ‘Teri Mohabbat Mein’ was in perfect synch with the percussion.
9. The slide from high to low pitch ‘Ajab hain ishq’ to ‘pal do pal’ did not effect his pitch.
10. The resonance was so in keeping with the pace. This is difficult for song with high emotional notes, because when you sing song deep emotion, and therfore emotion, you tend to increase peace, as you are carried away with the emotions.
NET NET: A perfect, and even better than perfect performance.

I agree with you 200%. Many people performed “Tadap Tadap ke” in other shows. But IRFAN’s performance was the best. His renditions, pronounciation of words, clarity, pitch, tone, high nodes, low nodes, SUR everything was perfect and he himself is so perfect.

Shastri I agree with you 200% as well…Irfan never used gimmics and I think he has learnt and practiced classical music for the longest than any other contestants and puts his HEART and SOUL in every performance…I actually had tears in my eyes after I heard him sing Tadap Tadap also because the song identified with Irfan’s situation that day…he sung it even better than Kay Kay, though Kay Kay is a great singer too…
Because he has always tried to get his votes and comments based only on his talent and hardwork he will be very successful no matter what. I think he achieved what he wanted…exposure and offer to sing with Mukesh/Mahesh Bhatt.

I watched the VOI I was shocked and surprised that a singer like Irfan was voted out and the most shocking thing was the Judges reaction. When Mr. Suman called out the other candidate’s name Alka Madam was almost to tears, and Mr. Shaan too was mouth wide open in shock, but when Irfan’s name was mentioned, the sigh of relief in the Judges face both the madam and Shaan were so hurting, why were they reacting, at least the Judges should not be so biased, it was very clearly seen that they didn’t favor Irfan which means all that say of Wow, excellent, and blessing him which Alka ji did were fake or what ?i fail to understand, actually Irfan was the best, and a very controlled singer, he was one person who didn’t talk of anything that would increase sympathy for him, so dignified was his presence. Wonder why Alkaji didn’t ask him to stay even though there was a request, then how come some of the other singers were allowed to stay even though they were voted out. This is clearly showing the biased nature of the Judges, they could have given Irfan a chance on their own without anyone requesting, coz he deserved, when Toshi was voted out even the organizers came down and said this was not fair, why not Irfan, that too he was in the final four directly, because of the wild card he was out this is ridiculous. I strongly feel that no one stood by Irfan just because he was a South Indian. At least the Judges should have thought of it, the organizers should definitely take note of this as Irfan was actually in the final 4, so if there was elimination it should have been from the ones who came in the wild card round. Pl bring Irfan back. He deserves his place in the finals. He is the only representative from South India and he has done very well. This is hard work and not charity, i request all the Judges to reconsider, and be fair, when they could give a chance to other singers why not Irfan that too on the day he gave the best performance. I request the organizers to do justice to the show and not see whether he is a North or South Indian.

Yes I do agree that irfan was the best and he should not be eliminated.In thsis contest Irfan and ishmeet are the only two contestants who are very low profile and serious about their singing.He was in the final four earlier but with the introduction of Wild card which was a silly decision he has to face elimination.The concept of Wild card was actually to bring back their favourite singers. But all got eliminated one by one.And with them Irfan bacame a scape goat.Its been seen that Mr Lalit pandit and Mr Adesh used to be very pleased to call their female contestant like Sumitra and Arshpreet and showered them with praises. But despite the wild card entry they all got eliminated. The producer of the programme should give judges a piece of advice that they should behave like judges and don’t give biased statement that he should be eliminated and he shouldnot be eliminated.And don’t make hue and cry if any one is eliminated like abhijeet said in the last episode that there is no competition now. If it is finished then why they are going ahead and wasting our time. They should wind up and go back to their home. They have made mockery of this programme. Wild Card was the most foolish idea to introduce.

I had posted this earlier to almost all the sites available that commented on Irfan when he was voted out of VOI, but now again another shock is that it is Toshi this time, that too after he gave such a stunning performance.
I did read in one of the comments that Harshit is the grandson of one CEO of starplus or something like that, so it is crystal clear that he will win, i wish i knew this earlier, it would have helped people like Irfan adn Toshi avoid this stupid and cheap stage and try elswere for their success

Incredible performance from Irfan. Can’t believe he got voted out SO early! He definetley deserved to be in grand finale, if not win it! He is so versatile, can sing all types of songs. The reactions from Alka and Lalit and Aadesh were just jawdropping. How happy they were! Harshit is nothing infront of Irfan, and its sad that he will win!

Irfan has the genuine voice. We were enthralled to hear the song sung by him about mothers. I have no words to express my sense of gratitude for remembering my deceased mother at that occasion. Thanks to Irfan and thanks to his proud mother and father.
