It’s amazing, how such singers who are much more worthy of appreciation is not appreciated, just because they happen to be from a different background(this is the only reason i could think of……..). While the “weaker singers”(most obvious is Ishmit in VOI IMO.) can rest assure that no matter how bad or average their performance is they are 99% always safe. Just cause they have a support of a particular region or sect etc.
How Toshi got voted off so early in the stage of the competition is beyond anyone. I personally don’t understand music as well as most of the people who generally watch this kind of shows. BUT I do understand that Toshi IS not WAS one of the best singer i have ever heard. A great singer will always be great while average singer at best can be just good(e.g. Ismhit).
Yeah, we totally agree with you. The strategy for voting definitely doesn’t seem to adhere to the brilliant capablitity one has. It seems to have fallen over the fence based on backgrounds which is a shame! It was extremely annoying and disappointing to see the results this week. Toshi does not deserve to be eliminated. India’s decision is pathetic and so heart breaking.Thumbs up to Abhijeet for his tremendous support for Toshi. Gajendra gee please OVERRIDE this result! Mr. Director and Producer please, have a jury in place to reverse this most stupid decision ever made immediately. And if possible abolish this public voting system and let the judges rule by the day! The World is stunned! We are offering prayers for his return and may he reach the greatest heights in his life. I have been a great fan of SVOI . I am in the US and I used to glued to youtube and other media just to watch Toshi and Sumitra perform. The moment when Toshi got eliminated was indeed a heartbreaking one.
I seriously condemn the decision India has given for Toshi. Just because the poor chap comes from Rajasthan where people dont fluently use their Email s and SMSs he has lost the battle to Mumbaiites, Puneites and Punjab.
I believe Abhilasha should have been voted out for the dual blunders she has created. Forgetting the lyrics in such a high profile competition is a huge mistake and surprisingly India has overlooked this blunder.It was very childish when Alka was standing behind her when she was singing. This shows clear bias. What was that when Alka asked Sulakshana pandit to vote appeal after she sang a not so impressive Mungda.
Ideally, there should be expert panel of judges along with the 5 who are present now who should make the decision. The public voting should just be a facet of the decision. I am sure Toshi had the ability to become the voice of india.
This week I am looking forward to Abilasha getting eliminated. People like Ishmit, Mirande are the next to follow.
Top 5 according to me are : Sumitra(ultimate!!!), Harshit , Irfan, Priyani and Abhaas..
This is radiculous.I think Toshi was one of the top 3 ,he should come back.

A better tomorrow awaites you toshi and i strongly belive you don’t belong to the stage of voice of india because there is no real competition for you in terms of pure music and talent.there is only competition between states and mute and sometimes dramatic attempts to win over the lazy audiance by every tricks other than pure talent…YOUR PLACE IS BEYOND THAT STAGE…

I AM ANUJ FROM UDAIPUR .I am shocked to find a classical singer like toshi being voted out. The behaviour of the judges declaring the result too was sadistic. with smiles on their faces they delared TOshi is in CHAKRAWAT. Anyway
