Finally we have group performance:
Toshi sings Tere Bin Nahin Lagda
Finally, for the performance I have been waiting. Toshi is called on stage. He sang ‘Tere Bin Nahin Lagda’ from the movie ‘Kachche Dhaage’. Wow, what a performance. Fantastic, Awesome, ‘Uttam’! I have no doubt in my mind that he will be the one getting selected in wild card round. [BTW, is it me that Toshi looked like he was wearing contact lens to change eye color OR you think so too?]

Mirande sings Namak Ishq Ka
Next we have Mirande and she sang Namak Ishq Ka from the movie ‘Omkara’. My first reaction: Why would you pick such a song when you have those judges around? Shouldn’t you pick a more classical song which judges are most likely be familiar with and can judge you more easily? When she was performing, one could see that Parveen Sultanaji is looking clueless as to which song Mirande is singing. I felt that Mirande sang really well (looks like she recovered from her throat infection) but her song selection was not right. My bet is that she won’t be in top 4. What do you think?

Abhaas sings Ek Chatur Naar
Next we have Abhaas and he sings the most popular song from Padosan, ‘Ek Chatur Naar’. He sang part sung by ‘Manna Dey’ as well as ‘Kishore Kumar’. Hm.. I don’t know how I feel about the performance. My guess is that his voice was really not fit for this song. Check out Aneek’s rendition of the same song, I think he did a much better job. What do you think?

Prantika sings Ni Me Yaar Manana Ni
Next we have Prantika and she sings ‘Ni Me Yaar Manana Ni’. When they show a/v clip about Prantika’s history in the show, the voice over says that may be Prantika got voted out because of her ’saadgi’. Excuse me but ‘what the f*ck?’ Gajendra, please stop saying ‘Sachche Suroon Ki Jai Jai Kar’. Really, just stop it. Anyway, Prantika gave fantastic performance.
