I don’t like Star Voice of India anymore.
I really don’t.
How Toshi can be voted out is beyond me.
It was heart breaking to see Toshi cry. Such an amazing and versatile singer. How could people vote him out? There has to be a veto option with judges so that they can rule out such stupid voting.
I can’t help but cry. Toshi pointed out that he never mentioned that he has really struggled to come to this stage and he doesn’t want to go back to that ‘gandagi’. One could feel the pain he was experiencing. I really really wish him good luck. I hope the lady luck smiles at him as he works hard in life.
And yes, I want to tell him…‘Ye Honsla Kaise Juke…Ye Aarzoo kaise ruke…’ Toshi, keep going my friend!
Who is better, Raja Hasan or Toshi, Decide for yourself.
Check out Saritha’s hilarious post on latest Star Voice Of India Episode. I wish I could write like that. Anyway, Saritha feels that SRGMP is more popular and has more traction. Checking comments on my YouTube videos, I found that people think Raja Hasan sung ‘Teri Deewani’ better than Toshi. So I decided to see Raja Hasan’s performance, here’s the video:
All I want to say is,
Are you freaking kidding me?
Anyone who thinks Raja Hasan did a good job of singing ‘Teri Deewani’ needs to immediately go to an ENT specialist and get some treatment. No, seriously. First, he rushes through the song as if he has to catch 5pm local train at Dadar. And when he says ‘Bebas Aur ..’, I felt as if I am listening to some pandit doing Satya Narayan puja. And why would he screw up the lyrics? Lyrics of the song does not read ‘Lut gayi mein, Mit gayi mein’. It reads ‘Mar gayi mein, Lut gayi mein’. Only thing going for him was his powerful voice. I agree completely that he has wonderful voice but I am not sure about his singing capabilities. And yes, can anyone help find restroom to Fardin, he looked as if he needs to attend nature’s call, badly.

Toshi sings Sili Sili Aundi E Hawa
Final performance of the day was from Toshi, singing Sili Sili Aundi E Hawa. I felt that he tried to overdo ‘Harkateins’ but overall, it was wonderful performance.

Toshi sings Saki Saki
After Abhilasha, Toshi was next in line and he sung ‘Saki Saki’ from the movie ‘Musafir’. Sunidhi sang the female part of the song. Toshi mentioned that he didn’t even finish his 12th standard studies because he was always in to music. He has struggled a lot and has sung in birthday parties, marriages, even in a bar. I think Toshi is a wonderful singer and I wish him good luck.

Toshi sings Phirta Rahoon
After little argument between judges, Toshi came up next to sing ‘Phirta Rahoon’ from the movie ‘Killer’. Awesome performance by Toshi. I am not a big fan of this song, but Toshi made me like it. Mahesh Bhatt said “Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant.” Pooja Bhatt said “Code number kya hai .. mein abhi SMS kar deti hoon.”
And as usual, Toshi did a vote appeal with a a shaayari:
