Sumitra sings Muqabala Muqabala
Last performance of the day was from Sumitra and she sung ‘Muqabala Muqabala’. My first reaction was: what the heck? Why would she chose that song? I don’t think that song suited her at all. Anyway, she still sung it well. I think that Sumitra is a fantastic singer but lately her song choices are really not up to par. What do you think?

Sumitra sings Dil De Diya Hai
Next up was a rocking performance by Sumitra. She sung Dil De Diya Hai, I don’t know from which movie the song is from, I have never heard it before. But I really liked her performance. Kunal really liked her performance and I liked the little duet they did at the end. Good show.
Sumitra sings Jiya Jale
After that little off track drama about Pandit family, Sumitra came on the stage to perform ‘Jiya Jale’ from the movie ‘Dil Se’. Good Performance.

Sumitra sings Bidi
Final performance of the day was by Sumitra singing the song Bidi. Bidi is one of my favorite song and I thought that Sumitra was the only participant who can sing this song. Unfortunately, it was not as good as I had expected. I guess one of the problem was that she tried to fill in the chorus herself and she was running out of breath. Sanchita from S R G M P little champs sung it better in my humble opinion.

Sumitra sings Dil Ko Hazaar Baar
Sumitra was the first to perform and she sang ‘Dil Ko Hazaar Baar’ from the movie ‘Murder’. I thought she was very good. She captured the ‘naughtiness’ present in the song very well. I really like her voice. All the judges liked her performance. BTW, I did not know that original song was sung by Alisha.
