Sumitra sings Kaisi Paheli Hai Yeh Zindagani
Final performance for the day was by Sumitra. She sang ‘Kaisi Paheli Hai Ye Zindagani’ from movie ‘Parineeta’. Good performance by Sumitra.
Priyani sings Barso Re Megha
After Toshi’s not-so-great performance, it was Priyani with Barso Re Megha. She said that it is a difficult song but she picked it because it is Sonu Nigam’s favorite song. And she was fantastic. She is a big Sonu Nigam fan and wanted to marry him. She couldn’t marry him, but Sonu has promised her that he will do her ‘Kanya Dan’.

Toshi sings Dil Mangta Hai
After that wonderful performance by Irfan, it was Toshi’s turn with the song ‘Dil Mangta Hai’. I was really surprised by the choice of the song. I personally don’t like the song and I don’t think it has that ‘Gayaki’ aang which Sonu Nigam was looking for. Sonu’s comments were interesting. Check it out.
Irfan sings Tera Jaado Chal Gaya
Next was the sher from Prithvi, Irfan. He chose the song ‘Tera Jaado Chal Gaya’ from the movie ‘Tera Jaado Chal Gaya’. In Indian Idol - II, someone sang this song in piano round and Sonu said that this is a very difficult song and even he doesn’t perform this song live because it’s difficult to maintain breath while singing this song. Irfan gave a phenomenal performance. Sonu Nigam said “This is the toughest song. Antare mein aapne saans ko kaise manage kiya hai, mein dekh ke heraan hoon. Aaapki saans itne se sharir se aati kaise hai?” BTW, I feel that Vinit, from SRGMP Challenge, sang this song even better.

Abhaas sings Satrangi Re
Abhaas was next with the song ‘Satrangi Re’ from ‘Dil Se’. I don’t know but his performance didn’t click with me. I thought Amey Date from Indian Idol - II sang it much much better. Sonu liked the performance and Abhijeet said that his was the best performance of the day.
