Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and Results
We have some group performance. Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor come on stage for the first time. Some more performances and show concludes.
Though they don’t show the results but we find out one good thing about wild card selection. Shaan says that Sanjay will give points for each performance of the day and people will give votes for each performance. They both will be combined to decide the 2 contestants who will be selected. Earlier, I had mentioned that only one contestant will be selected but looks like they are going to select two contestants from wild card round. And yes, I am happy about that!

Sumitra sings(?) Bahoon Ke Darmiyaan
Next we have Sumitra on stage and she tells that she is not sure if she wants to sing.
I have been noticing that lately she has lost interest from the competition and today she declared it. Obviously, she did not say that she has lost interest, she just made some excuse that she doesn’t want to sing. Anyway, Sanjya requests her to sing mukhda and she sings Bahoon Ke Darmiyaan without any music. It was interesting that none of the judges from Prithvi team and Agni team said anything to Sumitra. I guess she is right to realize that she doesn’t stand much chance when each of the judges have their own favorites and she is not in the list.
Well, Sumitra, I really like your voice and you have given some fantastic performances! It must have been difficult for you to pursue this challenge even though your parents were not supportive and you had to leave your job. I really salute your courage and wish you all the good luck! [And I wish I knew you when you were in Infosys!]
Toshi sings Chitthiye
Next we have Toshi on stage and he sings ‘Chitthiye’ from the movie ‘Heena’.
Amazing performance. Toshi was really good and he was able to bring lot of emotion and it brought tears to Alka’s eyes.
Though I did not like the idea that Toshi played the sympathy card. But I can’t blame him, he really wants to be in this competition and it shows. He has seen that sympathy trick works (e.g. Harshit) and ….well…..everything is fair in love and war.

Priyani sings Aa Ab Laut Chale
Next we have Priyani on stage and she sings Aa Ab Laut Chale (not the new one, old one from the movie ‘Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai’)
Wow, what a performance! Though I felt that her voice was stretching just a little bit at high pitch, but I still felt that it was a fantastic performance. I think it deserved more praise from judges. What do you say?

Abhaas sings Satyam Shivam Sundaram
Next we have Abhaas on stage and he sings ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. The original song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and it was different to hear in male voice but it was nice. He did a good job. But I did not know that he sang it so well as to deserve standing ovation from Sanjay himself. May be I am not in the majority but I did not feel that the performance was so praise deserving. But one thing is for sure: all this praise is going to bring in big votes from public.
