Results for 24th August Episode
Arshpreet, Mirande, Abhilasha and Sumitra were in bottom four. I was surprised to find Sumitra in the list. At the end, we find that Arshpreet has been voted out. I am not sure if I am surprised. Even though she may be very good singer, I don’t think she gave any get-you-off-your-seat performance. I always felt that the passion was missing from Arshpreet’s performances. I wish her good luck.
Sumitra sings Bidi
Final performance of the day was by Sumitra singing the song Bidi. Bidi is one of my favorite song and I thought that Sumitra was the only participant who can sing this song. Unfortunately, it was not as good as I had expected. I guess one of the problem was that she tried to fill in the chorus herself and she was running out of breath. Sanchita from S R G M P little champs sung it better in my humble opinion.

Arshpreet sings Ding Dong Bole
After Ishmit, Arshpreet sang ‘Ding Dong Bole’ from the movie ‘Kuch To Hai’. Good performance. Sunidhi really liked her performance.
Ishmit sings Ye Dil
After Toshi, it was Ishmit’s turn to come on stage. He sang ‘Ye Dil’ from the movie ‘Dil Mange More’. I didn’t think he was that good. I think it is difficult to sing song well when you are also trying to dance. I wish they would just concentrate on singing. What do you think?

Toshi sings Saki Saki
After Abhilasha, Toshi was next in line and he sung ‘Saki Saki’ from the movie ‘Musafir’. Sunidhi sang the female part of the song. Toshi mentioned that he didn’t even finish his 12th standard studies because he was always in to music. He has struggled a lot and has sung in birthday parties, marriages, even in a bar. I think Toshi is a wonderful singer and I wish him good luck.
