Abhaas sings Lamha Lamha
After Mirande, it was wonder kid Abhaas singing ‘Lamha Lamha’ from the movie ‘Gangster’ and what a performance! I think he was amazing. Abhijeet was the original singer for the song and you could see him enjoying this rendition by Abhaas. +10. Somehow, I had missed this song from the movie ‘Gangster’, and now this song is on my iPod.

Mirande sings Tinka Tinka
After that little drama, it was Mirande from Agni team to perform ‘Tinka Tinka’ from the movie ‘Karam’. I really like Mirande’s voice and I think she was perfectly suited for this song. Good job. Pooja felt that she has the ‘best female voice’ among participants.

Abhilasha sings (?) Ghoonghat Ki Aar Se
What’s an episode without a little controversy? So Abhilasha gives a great start for the song ‘Ghoonghat Ki Aar Se’ from the movie ‘Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke’. And she does it again, she loses the track and stops singing. It was very interesting to see Alka saying ‘She should start song from the beginning, itna Allowance has to be given’. I completely agree with Aadesh and Lalit that this is a competition and it is not fair that she gets a second chance if she messes up the song. Mahesh Bhatt requested the judges to give her another chance, but at the end it was decided that she will not get second chance as that’s the only fair thing to do. Agreed.

I think it was a very good move by Lalit and Aadesh to give her 9 out of 10 points. They re-iterated the fact that she is a good singer but she can not get mutiple chances while other singers only get once chance. And I like the way Lalit presents his arguments. Abhijeet and Aadesh can learn something from him. Your thoughts?
Harshit sings Tu Mile
After Irfan, it was Harshit on the stage and man, what a performance! He sung ‘Tu Mile’ from the movie ‘Criminal’. I have to admit, I am not big fan of Harshit but he really made an impact with this performance. Though I really would have liked it if he didn’t mess up the lyrics:
He sung the lines as:
Chand tujhe, oh…. dekhne ko machla karta hai
Aaina bhi, oh…. deedar to aisa karta hai
Original lines are:
Chanda tujhe, oh dekhne ko nikla karta hai
Aaina bhi, oh deedaar ko tarsa karta hai
None the less, he was fantastic.

Irfan sings Bheegi Bheegi
Next up, Irfan with ‘Bheegi Bheegi’ from ‘Gangster’, one of my favorite song. I think he was good but he could have done better, I liked his rendition of ‘Alvida’ much better. He has a great huskiness in his voice and he used it effectively in this song.
