Results for 14th September Episode - Mirande Voted Out
We find that Irfan, Abhilasha, Abhaas and Mirande are in bottom four and Mirande is voted out. Lately because of throat infection, Mirande’s performances have not been top notch. Still, I think she has a lot of potential, a wonderful voice and I am sad to see her go. I wish her all the luck in future endevours. Abhaas sings Mera to Jo Bhi Kadam
And finally Abhaas came on the stage with his parents and grand mother. He sang ‘Mera to Jo Bhi Kadam’ from the movie ‘Dosti’. I used to think that I am a big hindi music fan, but that myth was broken as Abhaas also sung a song which I haven’t heard. None the less, it was a wonderful performance. Now I need to go and find the mp3 of this wonderful song.
Abhilasha sings Mai Ri Me Kase Kahu
After the ‘bharat milap’, Abhilasha came on stage with her father. Her father sung ‘Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai’ and requested that she sing Madan Mohan’s song. She sung ‘Mai Ri Me Kase Kahu’ from the movie ‘Shabab’. Again, I am not familiar with the song so no comments about the performance.
Ishmit sings Aaj Maa De Hatha Di Pakiya Rotiya
After Mirande, it was Ishmit on stage with his parents. It was quite an emotional moment on the stage. Ishmit sung a punjabi song which I have never heard of, but it sounded very sweet. I really like Ishmit’s voice.
Harshit sings Roothkar Humse Kabhi
After Irfan, it was Harshit’s turn and he came on stage with his ‘dadimaa’. It was a very touche moment.
He sang ‘Roothkar Humse Kabhi’ from the movie ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’. This song is extremely close to my heart and Harshit sung it beautifully. Not only it brought tears to Shabana Azmi’s eyes, it brought tears to my eyes as well. You might know that Jatin and Lalit don’t work together and Shabana asked them to get together, everyone got very sentimental. I think Jatin-Lalit have given us wonderful music and I definitely think that it will be great if they address the conflict and get back together.
