Alright, I am very late but I finally managed to upload all the videos of 13th October episode.
Today for the third time, it’s Jugalbandhi time on VoI. And this time, participants are going to pair up with the judges! Now, if you pair participants with Alka and Abhijeet it is still okie, but making Jatin, Lalit and Aadesh sing? We really don’t want any more Himesh Reshamiya’s here, do we?
And if that was not enough, the script writer swings in to action again and comes up with ‘Bhul Bhalaiya’ theme to call upon participants on stage. The idea might have been ok but the implementation was, ridiculous. Shiney was reading the notes from the paper and Judges were trying to act hard to show that they were trying to solve the puzzle. Gaji, please, I beg of you, fire the script writer if you want to save this show.
And if you thought that ‘Bhul Bhulaiya’ theme was enough of a horror, you would be glad to find that it doesn’t end there. They decided to make participants sing their ‘past best performance’. I have no words to explain how lousy the idea is. But well, what can you do?
Another Saturday, another not-so-good VoI episode.

notice how they aren’t even singing..this show is turning into a complete nightmare :S at times they’re not even singing into the mic, lol..horrible job !
theres a lag in the video dummy. but toshi was great. best preformer of the day.
The Bhool Bhulaiyya idea was bound to fail, as the real stars of it were participating in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2007 Mega final. The episode, I agree, was scripted very poorly.
Jugalbandi is fine, and with very few participants remaining, every one should pair up with every other participant to sing and only then will people be able to make comparative analysis in a real sense.
The singers should also sing at least 2 paras of any song and not just stop with one.
Then we have six participants and 5 judges, as Gabbar Singh would have said,”Bahut Na-insafi Hai”. We have Harshit & Lalit (& Harshit’s Daadi), Toshi & Abhijeet/Adesh, Abhaas & Jatin, Priyani & Alka, Ismeet is finding some favour with Abhijeet nowadays. But poor Irfan is surviving on his own.
Finally, if people get proper assessments and meaningful analysis from all the judges (not the usual 9/10), it can guide the audiences better is voting for the real VoI. Otherwise, the show is heading towards everyone’s COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.
Lets pray for the best and hope that the rules are adhered to till the final!

Firstly on behalf of all readers a ton of thanks for your on-going efforts in making this a great forum.
I am bitterly disappointed that SVOI describes itself as a “Reality Show” and now even the judges are openly saying this. Yes, there is no doubt that towards the later stages even the last SA RE GA MA PA series turned outrageously commercial, but there was still a lot of sanctity left in the “talent hunt element” and they always maintained that it was a talent hunt show. You had people like Pandit Jasraj come in to judge the final three contenders and the number of votes were announced each week.
I must admit the only thing that keeps me wanting to tune in to SVOI every week is Toshi and Irfan. Even that is now turning out to be far fetched, with singers not even singing “live”.
Now I just watch previously recorded great performances of SVOI and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa!
As music lovers, we all must appreciate that singers, like all artistes are sensitive at heart. I am horrified that someone like Gajji is ignoring this fact and treating the participants with such insensitivity, but then we keep forgetting it is a REALITY SHOW!
I am sorry to say but Gajji has sunk to the ultimate depths… if I wanted to watch a reality show .. I would tune into Big Brother. For the sake of Saraswati.. take heed and return to back to the Truth of Music.
It is an earnest plea of some one who has been watching and treasuring your shows since you started.
You have given us many many great musical memories and singers… Shreya Ghosal, Suraj Singh, Abhrokanti, Amanat Ali, Toshi and many many more. Please don’t kill your own legacy.
I sincerely hope that Rani Mukherji handed you a Saraswati last week and made you realise your responsibility towards popularising good Indian music and promoting real Indian talent.
Gajji the true supporters of Indian Music want the real you back.
Yes Goddess Laxmi is with you but please remember it was Ma Saraswati in the first place who introduced you to her!

I really appreciate your efforts in uploading videos …but can you tell me what on earth is motivating you still to do this kind of work. Don’t get me wrong..!!!
VOI is one big flop show now. All i saw today was the first link of abilsa elimination and jsut saw the title of songs sang by others. Shame on priyani to be laughing while she got max votes. What about those crocodile tears..!!!Damn it…!!!
Alka could not even stand up to when abilasha wanted to touch her feat…!!!!great..!!!
Irfan should take a not of all these and withdraw his participation before he voted out. It will be a awesome turn of events for VOI..!!!!
Anyway…moderator u have really done a good job for us in sharing us the video. Hats off to you for doing this. I will visit this website…everyweek..jsut for few mins to see who sang what song , guest and who voted out. I won’t waste time listening to any contestants from now on..!!!!

Toshi is always great.
Gosh, it is all turning into a circus now. In the last episode people lip-synched the whole way through. It is amazing that Gaj ji thinks we are fools and would never know. Oh well, I think participants like Abhas and Irfan are wasting their time on this show. I wish them all the success!
Zaki - I like your message to Gaj ji about how he should pay attention to Ma Saraswati who introduced him to Lakshmi ji in the first place! Hope he listens to you!
I do not have many hopes from him though. He does not ever show his face on the show and when poor Shaan calls his name he responds through what sounds like an Aakaashwani from somewhere far far away!
Toshi should go now. People do not want singer with begging the votes and get sympthy for garibi.
Voice of India has lost its charm with Abhilasha gone. She truly did entertain us with her beautiful songs, during the Shaadi episode and all others where she sang duets etc as part of the part of the show apart from her own performance.
I wish Irfaan all the best now. (None of the Wild Card Entry contestants deserve any votes). Toshi is also getting a bit bigheaded now (Sonu was right)….
Must say i fail to appreciate all this fuss and crib..i quite enjoyed the show as usual. There are gimmicks in every show and this is not an exception.
I am also glad that judges managed to bring back Abhas and Toshi. Even though they appear quite idiotic sometimes (read most), I think these judges are very talented and have always spotted and appreicated a good performance.
Thank you very much for taking the time to upload all the videos and maintaining this website. I wait expectantly for you t do so and truly appreciate and enjoy it.

I agree with Ajay. I enjoyed this week’s episodes far better than last week. The jugalbandi was just ’shughal’ but all singers sang their ‘best’ songs very well! My favourites were “barso ray” and “ik haseena the”

SRGMA of old times much better then this fake realities shows. Those jugdes were great. They treatd all the contestants evenly. And they selected some of the real talent.

I dont know why you all are even wasting your time. The show is rigged, people like myself are voting multiple times (ie.over 1000 votes) for Toshi; who in the end will win. Sorry to dissappoint you all. I know that there is talent greater then him but Toshi is going to win no matter what.

how can toshi be voted ojut. he is voi. something is wrong with indian audience. how can ishmeet be there. he is horrible. someone is playing games. we r not going to watch star voi again. toshi is better than some of our singers like abhijeet and shan and if he gets voted out ,then it is not a worth watching show. b ring back Toshi . we want toshi as voi. rajasthanis are very ignoraant and did not vote unlike the punjabis who voted for worthless ishmeet. toshi toshi toshi . he is far above standard. voi is a bekar ka show which we should not waste our time on. unless toshi is brought back noone shd watch this show
