Abhilasha sings Mai Ri Me Kase Kahu

After the ‘bharat milap’, Abhilasha came on stage with her father. Her father sung ‘Zindagi Ki Yahi Reet Hai’ and requested that she sing Madan Mohan’s song. She sung ‘Mai Ri Me Kase Kahu’ from the movie ‘Shabab’. Again, I am not familiar with the song so no comments about the performance.

    The song is not from the movie Shabab as mentioned in the intorductory remarks. Madan Mohan ji never composed for that movie. Mai Ri is from the film Dastak, released in 1970, lyrics by Majrooh. Madan Mohan ji got the National Award for Music for the score of this movie.

    Abhilasha really sang it beautifully.
