Abhaas sings Satyam Shivam Sundaram
Next we have Abhaas on stage and he sings ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’. The original song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar and it was different to hear in male voice but it was nice. He did a good job. But I did not know that he sang it so well as to deserve standing ovation from Sanjay himself. May be I am not in the majority but I did not feel that the performance was so praise deserving. But one thing is for sure: all this praise is going to bring in big votes from public.

Abhaas brought tears to our eyes again. This guy pours his heart out with every song. How can anyone not see that? I write music, and I can tell you, I would have him sing my songs anytime.
Unlike the other contestants, he can sing in a variety of styles.
This is the first time I am hearing this song… It is a great song. I heard this song in VOI from Abhaas. He sung it so beautifully… Later, I heard the original song sung by Lataji. She has sung it very nicely. But, somehow, I liked Abhaas voice for this song! He sung it very devotionally… Awesome guy… This guy deserve to proceed further in VOI.

I’m a singer myself and have been following this show for a long time. There is just one word that describes abhaas - “phenomenal” !!!
I think he is the best. His range,breath control,voice, emotions no contestant can beat. He will be a famous voice of India. I wish him best of luck.

Wow, I absolutely think that Abhas is the best singer in the competition. His voice is so melodious and I think that he should win VOI hands down. Talent like this has never been seen before. And he did not ask for any sympathy votes, like some others in the competition. I hope that India realizes this talent before it is too late.
Gotta agree with all of you! He has sure delivered one fine performance after another throughout this show. It was so nice to see his talent be so well received by Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali. We must support this gem of a guy. He deserves to win this competition!
Ahbaas is an extra-ordinary talent, it doesnt matter if he is going to be selected in the wild card or end up winning VOI, he is only 18, he has a great future in front of him

My family and watch this program on TV in NZ and I always logon to the website to see updates. Abhaas and Harshit are fantastic and gives a mindblowing with every performance of theirs. I am not sure why Abhaas was voted out. What a shame. Hope he makes it back.
He was absolutely brilliant. He deserved every single applause he got. He sings with his heart and this 17 year old is really blessed. He deserves to be back at any cost.
This show is stacked. It seems that Joshi is alrteady picked by the judges who promote him openly. It is unethical for judges to act like that. Is that the best they could find? Abhaas is the best on the show, but this show will not respect his talent. The producers seem to have turned this show into a farce.

Abhas is awesome, not cuz he belongs to my birth place, but he is really a genuine singer and should be the winner based on performance of all the participants so far. ‘Satyam shivam sundaram..’ a perfact song whenever listened, we feel closeness with god, sung so beautifully. I think probably the best ever attempt after great Lataji sung it. The line ‘Ram avadh mein, kaashi mein shiv…..’ ohhhh god so beautiful.. just cant explain.

but my best wishes are always with him…
i want to remind that there was a mind blowing singer named VIPUL in top 15 or 16….but he voted out bcoz of judges…..after that toshi, abhaas and harshit were doing gr8….but bcoz of voters 2 of them voted out…(1 come back but after voted out)….therefore i personally think that there must be a procedure (like Fame Gurukul) where judges should choose worst 3 and then they must call for pulic votes….

Abhas is simply super and has troumendous talent. He sings like a professional. It is amazing to watch him singing so easily such difficulty songs. Even though i am from south i am simply amazed by this extraorinary personality.

At the prime age of 17-18, it is really a divine gift to abhaas that he equally stood at par with vast experienced Latajee in rendering this song and it rather looked like a competition in between two. I am sure that abhaas will have greatest future in Indian Playback field if evil politics will not play in between.
I have developed a special interest in this song especially in the sweet and divine voice of sweet . He has brought a new stint and taste to this song and not bored to hear again and again because Abhas sung it so! It acts a soothing relief to even depressed and ill patients as a tonic. Godly rendition of song indeed! I am 60 yrs.old man seen God in this song rendition. Heartiest and soulful blessings to Abhas! He will come up to the top of the singing field. I am sure and wish!
Hey guys, mark my words…..this boy wonder, Abhaas, is going to be the next Kishore Kumar of India. He has the same madness, versatality, fantastic voice and he sings with so much depth and soul that I have goosebumps everytime I hear him. Watch out for Abhaas!!!!!
