Abhaas, my brother, you rock. You are light years away from the second person behind you. None has the versatility like you. You got all the skills to be a winner, but keep that humbleness.

rocking performance…simply too good
I think one of the best he has sung is satyam shivam sundaram. Apparently the one for which the external judges did not select him. It makes one wonder about the competence of those judges. Abhas is great no doubt.

Abhaas is tooo cute yaar! I love that kid, his voice is soo amazingly mindblowing! I can listen to his voice oveer and over again, its soo sweet and humble! I agree with you Ajay, satyam shivam sundaram was his best performance I thought! Brilliant, lets keep this kid in the game. Cause I hate toshi no offence to those who like him! Toshis voice sounds soo clogged up, is he a smoker, cause it sounds like it through his voice :S kick that loser out!
Abhaas gave another outstanding performance on 19 October. His superb rendition of the old song and the new song was unbeatable. Not so with the others like Irfan, Toshi, Priyani etc. If any of you noticed , they only did justice to the new songs. I especially ‘hated’ the way that Toshi and Irfan sang. (Sorry for this crude language!) No soul in their songs! I have never understood as to what is the magic that Toshi has got that people are sucking upto him. He sings only ONE GENRE of songs and he proved yesterday that he is a TOTAL MISFIT for other varieties of songs.
I very eagerly look forward to Abhaas’s performance every week. Harold rightly says that he is light years away from the person second behind him. He is untouchable!
And has anyone ever noticed the way he conducts himself on stage……utter humility!!! Never does he stand with his hands in his pockets. Unlike others like Harshit, Irfan, Toshi etc. who are always with their hands in their pockets. If you talk of etiquette, this behaviour is extremely uncouth. Abhaas brings out his upbringing in his songs. I am sure that many of his ardent SVOI fans who regularly contribute to this column, will agree with me.
And one thing more..he has the most DIGNIFIED way of asking for votes.
Many commentaries were written as to how Abhilasha did not cry when she was voted out last week. Nobody wrote about how Abhaas too DID NOT CRY when he was voted out before the wild card episode. Again, he made a very dignifed farewell speech and sang an appropriate song.
Politics is killing the SVOI programme. I am sure that Abhaas is all the time living with the fear that it is his turn now to get booted out.
Let us all (all of us Abhaas fans’) pray earnestly that he sticks out till he wins the coveted title. I am sure GOD will help him the succeed. Only prayers are going to help him since he is not getting any votes at all.
It is only then that all the crticisms that have been making the rounds will die dowm since it will a VERY WELL-DESERVING CASE THAT WILL BE WINNING THE TITLE.
Let us all therefore say our sincere paryers for Abhaas’s victory!!!
